Must be your first time playing DD. They will jack his stats up based on card type. They just gave Jason bay high 90s contact and 100 power.
Jeter will have contact in the 110s and power in the 80s. His fielding stat itself will be 85+ because his fielding wasnt actually bad...he just had limited range compared to others (more of a reaction thing).
Guarantee any Sig Jeter card will be diamond/diamond all around.

My vote is also for Colon with the emphasis on BIG. He also played for Texas along with the 3 teams you noted (and a few others that may be the bottom 2 pictures). He is popular enough to get a program card, and had good seasons (cy young, 20 wins) that will give him an awards or milestone card.
It’s not my first time and I’m sure they will boost his stats. Just wanted to say Jeter was pretty average IRL. He was durable and won rings on loaded teams. Below average fielder at a prime position for fielding.

There isn't 0% chance. I could not care less if Jeter was in this game either. I don't think Jeter is polarizing enough to warrant any kind of special announcement for his arrival. Griffey came from the same era as Jeter, Griffey was immensely more popular.

I think Bartolo is a real possibility. Yankees played Braves in 99 WS and Mets 2000 WS so thought there was maybe a connection there but couldnt find much that fit. I dont think any Bartolo card would be worth it to me to do the collection. And I agree that Jeter would be a much bigger announcement to sell copies.

I wouldn’t rule out anyone, I think it’s going to be really big. If it’s not a new legend maybe Ruth or someone else of that hype level.
Thirty mid 90 diamonds releasing the same day including MVP and Milestones. If it’s not the best card in the game when it comes it would be weird for a tweet and teaser especially with all those other cards available that day.
Perfect game club or something we haven’t seen yet I would say.

I am a HUGE Sox fan who sat in the bleachers yelling “NOMA’S BETTER!” At every Yankee game like a drunk lunatic. I was obsessed with telling people how much better Nomar was.
Then I grew up. I realized I was wrong. Jeter was not average. That guy could play baseball at a high level consistently and was dangerous every at bat. He was a case where he passed the eyeball test better than flashy inflated stats.
Will SDS juice his card if they ever get his rights? Absolutely. But then I can create a Nomar CAP and finally show people who was better! (I’m joking, sort of)

This seems pretty early for the collection to be out and there isn't very many cards from certain sets. I'm thinking it may be a multiple step collection. One guy from all those teams in the stadiums.

There isn't a Colon card you could spruce up enough to necessitate the amount of stubs that will need to be locked in for this.

Probably multiple cards. And definitely not any of the big names mentioned above for a small collection in May. They would save some of those big names for the big collection latter in the year.
