No connection to Old Miami which is picture four, goodbye ️
I'm just saying there is literally a 0% chance Jeter gets released mid season. As much as anyone may think he is overrated he is a selling point for this game.
There isn't 0% chance. I could not care less if Jeter was in this game either. I don't think Jeter is polarizing enough to warrant any kind of special announcement for his arrival. Griffey came from the same era as Jeter, Griffey was immensely more popular.

I mean they did keep honus a secret until the honus collection 2 years back

True, but Honus isn't exactly a household name either. I'm a baseball history fanatic, but I don't think a good portion of people really knew who he was.
-
Off the top of my head....maybe Pudge? He played for Texas and Florida...but seeing as he has a diamond already probably isn't him...trying to think of others that would be considered legend that has connections to both
-
Jeter is due his respect in this game, but it's probably too good to be true

I agree with that comparison, but Jeter is still a guy they would use to sell copies, as they did with griffey in 17, Babe in 18, Mays in 19, Mantle in 20, and Aaron/Clemente/Pedro in 21. I couldn't care less if Jeter was in the game either, but you have to admit his name alome would sell copies of the game

Saw the braves yankee pic on twitter....David Justice or maybe Brian McCann?
-
Bartolo Colon. He is “big” and he played for the Yankees the Braves and the Mets
-
Have fun with Silver fielding and mediocre power
-
Randy "Big Unit" Johnson. He played for NYY and threw a perfect game vs. Atlanta.

There are 5 stadiums in the picture. I couldn't tell you what the fifth one is in the bottom of the picture but the first 4 are Turner field, Shae stadium, Old Texas, old Miami

Must be your first time playing DD. They will jack his stats up based on card type. They just gave Jason bay high 90s contact and 100 power.
Jeter will have contact in the 110s and power in the 80s. His fielding stat itself will be 85+ because his fielding wasnt actually bad...he just had limited range compared to others (more of a reaction thing).
Guarantee any Sig Jeter card will be diamond/diamond all around.

My vote is also for Colon with the emphasis on BIG. He also played for Texas along with the 3 teams you noted (and a few others that may be the bottom 2 pictures). He is popular enough to get a program card, and had good seasons (cy young, 20 wins) that will give him an awards or milestone card.

There isn't a Colon card you could spruce up enough to necessitate the amount of stubs that will need to be locked in for this.

I think they set the stage when they did that reveal for Soriano and everyone thought it was Jeter at first.

Well there has been no indication as to the requirements for the collection. Feels like we are both making assumptions about the word BIG (I'm working on reference to the player -- Big Sexy and it sounds like you're implying its BIG as in the Honus collection....which its way too early for)
We don't know what legends or flashbacks will be required (any? certain types?). I'm looking forward to the reveal.
Also was struggling with the Old miami thing (if it is Old Miami), then saw this on wikipedia: "On September 5, 2015, Justin Bour of the Miami Marlins hit a chopper down the first-base line; Colón charged and made a behind-the-back flip to first for the out. "
