The coal plant was replaced by a solar farm.

That was followed by rolling blackouts at the stadium resulting in lost games. 😎

What are you , a spokesman for C/O/NG?
my friend got panels put on his roof a few years ago when they started doing the tax credits for it, and not only has never had power out he actually gets a check from the electric company every month.

No, I am a critical thinker. The technology is not there...period. They have not invented a battery that can store solar power efficiently. When you have no sun for a few days, you have no power. Just because it works on a small scale doesn't mean it will work on the larger scale.

It was redesigned out of fear of being called fascists and climate deniers by a bunch of uppity twats desperately in need of a cause.

I particularly agree with the in need of a cause portion.

Hey look who’s finally found a friend!

If you don’t think there is a little bit of an ingredient called college aged kids without a cause baked into the world today.......

Oh yeah, guessing you were quite the revolutionary in your day...

Im only a little older than the college kids, but we had 9/11 and the Afghanistan/Iraq wars. I don’t really blame them for finding a cause to get behind...just think it is what it is.

I just think the park looks nicer.

I hope the dimensions stayed the same...they were the same as the original dimensions at Citi Field.

Genuine question, when has that not been true? The 60s and 70s anti-Vietnam and pro-legalization crowd mainly started from college-aged kids. College kids have always been on the forefront of looking for "causes". It's not just a today thing

Its ok to parrot Rachel Maddow though right? The technology is not there. If it was effective it would be adopted by businesses. I bet you are an electric car guy. Where do you think that electricity comes from? Yep....dirty old coal. Nuclear is the only clean reliable energy. I don't need Tucker Carlson to tell me how to think. I deal in reality and facts bud.

It works for your personal home, but would it work at a large apartment building ,an auto manufacturing plant or run a large corporation building? Hospital?

The answer is no. He doesn't want an honest debate though. Anyone that disagrees with him is obviously a victim of disinformation.

Well if you live in the midwest and you get them, you're an idiot. If you live in Florida and you don't get them, you're an idiot

Exactly, not everywhere is sunny. Not everywhere is windy....there are limits. Anyway, this conversation will never go anywhere. You are free to believe anything or anyone you would like.

How did an innocent comment about changing scenery at a park turn into this nonsense? When I come here, I don't want to read whiny biased rants about political issues. I want to read whiny biased rants about the show!

I'll get us back on topic with a comment that's more typical of what we all log in for........Waaah! This is the worst game ever! I'm gonna show SDS how much I hate it by playing way more than the average person and buying it every year anyway!

I apologize for my role in the bringing of politics to places they shouldn't be in the first place. Politics really suck and usually cause nothing but trouble.
