I find that when I throw mostly sliders with Chapman then throw the fastball for the first time with two strikes he’s very effective

He’s almost unhittable in the right hands. I’ve smashed him but dudes don’t touch him vs me. It a you thing not an Aroldis thing.
What does that have to do with the post? You just came here to stroke your own ego, congrats.
On top of that a great hitter can mash Chapman...obviously the competition level he is playing at is bad.
Great hitters can hit everybody. what’s your point? Chapman would still be one of the first 2 or 3 I’d take out of the bullpen to go against anybody.
-
they never said chapman is terrible or anything like that, just that they used the new upgrade and gave up a hr. to think giving up a home run in this game = being bad with a pitcher is a stretch. to think your success with chapman doesn't have a lot to do with competition is another one.

If you need a good lefty in the pen, grab Hader if you dont already have him. His slider down and away vs lefties is unhittable.
-
To Aroldis’s credit, he did pitch a very strong 8th inning for me the following game. I think maybe he just had an upset tummy in his first appearance.

Decided to splurge a bit and buy Aroldis. Put him in in the bottom of the 9th and he immediately gives up a game winning oppo bomb. Should have stuck with Brad Hand. It was a good game though.
Shouldve got Plesac

I faced him today for the first time, played the matchups and put Story against him.. walk off grandslam. I’m scared of using him now lol

3-pitch Plesac?

Chapman owns me, I can’t touch him. But I’m not a great hitter. I was able to hit a game tying HR off him with Bagwell last time but I was sitting on a fastball up and in and luckily my opponent finally threw me one there.

Don’t be fooled by the 3 piches. He’s way better than Hader. I’m not saying use Plesac for 3 innings but in the right situation, he’s very good

It’s actually 28-11 one loss was double counted. And lol pretending a 72% win percentage is bad on a rocks, paper, scissors game is bad especially given the fact I casually play online as you can tell by games played. I don’t really enjoy the game much online. And I don’t even use contact swing. I’d cook you an “at least you tried” cake like Bart Simpson but I don’t care enough about your opinion lol.

I'm just pointing out that you're not smashing anyone. Maybe between 0 and 400 lol but I'm guessing that's about it. Would you say most of your losses have happened since you hit all star? And thank you for going out of your way to mention contact swinging even though noone said a word about it. Everyone was really on the edge of their seat wondering if you use it or not. Which I'm guessing you 100% do. Other than all that you really put me in my place.. I know whos boss now. I'll be more obedient from here on out

Since you’re really worried about me offline only player. Out of my 11 losses 1 was my second game I was testing something on my connection. 1 was laggy as hell where the ball was teleporting after the pitch so I quit. 5 have been on HOF. So that leaves 4 losses on all star and my last 2 games I quit while tied or down 1 because I was bored out of my mind playing. I’m not the best at the game but I hold my own. Thanks for checking up on me. And I don’t use contact swing at all. I mention it because it’s a disease and makes the game boring. How many ABs can you go through 10-11 pitches while the dude fouls off very early, very late, on the dirt, 1 foot inside, 1 foot outside. At some point it just gets boring and it’s better to find something else to do. This is a hobby after all and if your aren’t having fun why keep doing it.

That about every pitcher. I only throw fastballs as a strike out pitch Bc they are so easy to hit. Unless you have an outlier guy it’s just free bombs when I throw a fastball early count

I believe you are mainly looking at a LH for the pen right?
That's the downside of Chapman, it's his poor control on all his pitches.
It does take a little time to learn exactly how his (and all pitchers) pitches break and how much.I've found that control is the most important attribute for a pitcher along with obviously H/9 and K/9.
I used Hand for a long time and did well with him. He has great control on 2 of his pitches and I think that is the difference.
Without the great control it seems like pitches very often don't go where you're aiming and often drift over the middle of the plate. As well as often being behind in the countI have Plesac, Wagner and Chapman, all tier 2 or 3 so I've pitched them alot and would rank them in that order.
Plesac has fantastic control on 2 pitches, great on the 3rd. Wagner great on one, really good on another. Chapman bad on 3, horrible on the 4th.So how they've pitched for me seems like it can mainly be attributed to control.
BTW, I used Hader alot at one point (to tier2). He has ok control on 2 pitches but a really bad HR/9 rating and seems to get punished for mistakes more then the rest. He seems like more of a vs. LH specialist only which of course is difficult to set up with todays rules.
