    Hi guys!

I am in a massive slump atm. I would say i am usually quite good hitter but this week something has changed. My BA has been on most players between .300-.500 but now it feels i can't hit anything. RS games i get MAX 6 hits and BR games MAX 3. This is something insane. The PCI feels it's never on point even though i hit like last week. I am way too late on fastballs and way too early on offspeed. I can't even remember when i have last hit HR. Super frustating. Nothing is working atm. Should i go play against CPU on All-star and get the timing back or what should i do. Now i feel like i am running into a brick wall every game.

Dude I feel ya. I’m in the same boat but I am at least hitting off speed right now. I’d be interested in how to break it as well. I literally guess the opponents pitches 70 percent of the time but I still can’t touch them. Especially fastballs, even when I cheat to the spot I’m still late

Some people say to go practice on legend which is fine advice. But I feel like sometimes the slump comes from you trying to go too quick. I say go into a game, all star, HOF or whatever and move your pci around slowly and try to hit without being early on anything. Good or late only. Slow yourself down.

Also theres a training game in rtts where you move the pci around and hit the balls that fly in the screen. Don’t know if there’s a way to play that just on the side but it really does seem to help me focus on putting the pci on the ball and hitting because if you kind of just hit it sliding by it won’t register.

my favorite way to get out of a slump is to set the controller down and go beat up a stuffed animal

but for real, i'll go play a showdown and once i get to the mini bosses i'll take my right hand off the controller and track every pitch with the pci until there is 2 strikes, then i'll swing again. gets your eyes reacclimated to following and tracking the pitch and will force you to be patient

Honestly play some conquests on HOF. Helps me a ton when I jump back online. If that doesn’t work seriously just take a break for a day. Play something else

Weird take: switch to directional and play the cpu, then shadow your stick movement to match pci movement.

Sometimes just need to take a day off. If that’s not an option, change some camera angles, PCI settings (or off).

If you're in a slump then it's the game's fault because something something RNG blah blah Comeback Logic. The developers are personally out to get you because you're just too amazing, so you should probably just quit playing. But not before posting 10 whiny rants about the unfairness of it all.

At least that's what I've learned from browsing this board. You probably just need to take a break and maybe practice a little.

Use contact swing. Seems to be the o.p method for scrubs and newbies. Not saying you are, just saying thats what seems to work in this trash game

Directions on how to get good
    Swing late
    Swing early
    Completely miss the ball
Let the game hang pitches down the middle while pitching
Watch your outfield count the seams on the baseball before they throw it in.
Get thrown out at first from left field
    This game is so fun

This should be a recipe to suck at the game but the players that can do all of the above are the ones I lose to

be patient at the dish buddy, keep that PCI sitting middle, really be patient at the dish, take your time and calm / turn on music if that keeps you zen and in the zone - be patient at the dish - i keep repeating that because that is all you need right now - i hope this helps and good luck on the field
