Get on Base 6 times with Matt Kemp.... until it isn't
-
Just reached on an dropped flyball, and it didn't count.... I reached base, and that's the rules, it doesn't have to be a hit. Anyone else experience this?
-
Errors don't count as on base. Hits, walks, or HBP

Nope, it’s not a reach base; it has to count towards OBP
-
Common sense says hit, walk or hbp
-
If they counted it an error then no it would not.
Its reach base safely - meaning base hit walk or hbp. -
Unless they changed it from 20, you guys are wrong
In baseball statistics, total bases is the number of bases a player has gained with hits. It is a weighted sum for which the weight value is 1 for a single, 2 for a double, 3 for a triple and 4 for a home run. For example, three singles is three total bases, a double and a home run is six total bases, and three triples is nine total bases. -

"""""Total""""" Bases is the counting version of Slugging Percentage. So despite the flawed name, they only count if there's hits incolved
Yeah but the challenge doesn't ask for total bases.

Common sense says that getting to first on an error is reaching first base.

Do errors count towards OBP? no. thus why it doesn't count
-
Reaching base via error or fielders choice does not count as an "on base" statistic. You can claim it is considered "reaching base", but that does not change the rules of the actual statistic in Major League Baseball (thus also the game).

No, because the stat in real life on reaching a base does not count errors. It's not some made up statistic.
-
My advice:
- Get to 20 points doing moments (unlocks the rookie version)
- Put Rookie Kemp leading off in your line up. Play against cpu to get the stats needed in stage 2. This should you to 40 points.
- Exchange fielders. This adds the last 10 points needed to unlock his diamond version.
Hope this helps.

safe on an error means should have been out but due to a mistake you were not.
Didnt reach base safely, you should have been out.same for fielders choice- they chose the other guy instead of you. -
