How do I get Salvador Perez the 42 card. I was trying to buy him on the market but his card wasn’t there

AL Central Team Affinity. Can't remember what the first level for a 42 player is though.

First Team Affinity level is 60 points. Fastest way there is probably a combination of showdowns, Central Conquest, and innings with AL Central Players. Once you get to 60 then it becomes a little bit easier to get points because you can start doing more of the missions.

Yeah once you get the first player at 60 TA pts, every player after that is after 30 pts. I'm actually trying to get Salvy next. JT Realmuto hits way better than his stats suggest, especially HRs, and is possibly best C at throwing out guys. Normally around 20k if you need someone good til then.

I think just straight up showdown grinding is technically the fastest if you can complete it every run with limited issues. I couldn't grind showdowns personally, not enjoyable enough.
Otherwise yeah...stack your team with Al central guys and do the AL central conquest map (15pts). Plus moments (i think 2 pts each for a total of 10?). Then just grind innings that way but innings grind takes some time.

This ^^ I have been telling my buddies the same thing. Realmuto smashes the ball for some reason. I think he may be top 3 on my team in HRs online. I have replaced him for online with my CAP but [censored] can he hit!
