Bo's problem is that all his Topps cards are boring and terrible.

If there's ever a Bo card, it needs to be this:

He would be cool, but let's be honest. He was a much better football player...

He wasn't a great but good for 20 Hr and 80 RBI and he played the most 130 games in a full season..Pretty sure he averaged like 112 games. Mid 250, 260 average but no slouch. Legendary footballer and an all time great if that injury doesn't happen. Let's not make him put to be Michael Jordan at baseball though bro.

We really need that 40 contact, 85 power. Highlight player but not a great player. He’s fine where he is…..in Madden.

Oh I'm fully aware of what he was as both. I never made him out to be a failure. Just that he was much better at football.

He was a 111 OPS+ hitter. Slightly above average.
Struck out 32% of the time when hitters weren't striking out like today... Didn't walk much all that much to make up for it either. And though he was obviously incredibly explosive and fast, he wasn't a particularly smart fielder either. Had he focused on only baseball he might have been a superstar in this sport.. but he was only because he did both sports in this case.

He would also have speed and a cannon arm.

In my opinion he would be a good fun low diamond early in game cycle card, but that's it.

Dude had at least four seasons w/ over 20 homeruns and 50 RBI only playing half the season. His stats would be way higher if he had played an entire season. Additionally, even after his hip injury he had two seasons w/ 10+ homeruns and 40 RBI. I would love to see this card in the game along w/ Roy and Dion.

He slugged over .500 once and he did that in over 500 at bats, not a half season. All he would have done in more at bats is set the all time strikeout record 20 years earlier than Mark Reynolds.

Bo was definitely better than Deion Sanders in Baseball. Deion had one good year and besides leading the league in triples, his other numbers weren't that good at all. I compare him to Billy Hamilton, extremely fast and nothing else.

SUMMARY Bo Jackson 8 years (3 of his years were after his hip surgery)
    Career
    WAR8.3 AB2393 H598 HR141 BA.250 R341 RBI415 SB82 OBP.309 SLG.474 OPS.784 OPS+112

    SUMMARY Deion Sanders 13 years
    Career
    WAR5.5 AB2123 H558 HR39 BA.263 R308 RBI168 SB186 OBP.319 SLG.392 OPS.711 OPS+89
