Guys, for the love of god if you are getting smoked and it’s late game just quit in a freeze off. I’m up 6-0, my opponent has 3 hits (2 bunts), and it’s the 7th inning. Like I know you want to hold out hope that you’ll come back but if it freezes be the bigger person when you’re losing. It makes the game unplayable when half the time you have to wait 6 hours for a win.

I was up 6-1 in an Event game and then freeze. Submitted ticket to SDS as the team ahead should get the win. Not the person more pathetic that is willing to wait it out. Ridiculous coding.

I was down 3 - 1 last night in 7th inning if I remember correctly. I was at bat and had just got leadoff man on first - freeze!
I said, I'll wait 5 minutes and if he still hasn't quit, i'll quit.
He quit at 3 min mark.Edit: He had 37 wins or something and it was late last night, I know he was trying to get to 40...

Totally agree, I wish they’d just change it to whoever is ahead at time of freeze gets the win, you’d think that would be something they can do. But yea, not much of an honor system within this community, a lot of grimy dudes out there.

To give an update it’s on hour 8, he messaged me and said he will not quit until MLB 22 comes out because I,”played like a bi***” I asked what I did and he’s upset I squeezed in a run with my pitcher up to bat. Keep in mind he’s gotten three runners on and two of them were bunts. He’s got parallel V Dee Gordon leading off.

Correction: the game is unplayable because you are willing to stop playing and wait 8+ hours for a single win. Some of you guys take this stuff waaayyyy too serious.
