Pitch speeds in BR (All Star) are as fast as pitch speeds on Legend practice

why did you ruin the game after a few days?!? change it back!

I was surprised by pitch speeds in a ranked game in the 300’s this morning. So that would be what, veteran or all star? Seemed pretty quick.

I noticed 91MPH sinker looked 98, while an 86 cutter was slower than a 80 changeup this morning. Big brother is playing touchy feely with the sliders.

Clearly.

1000000000%. I played veteran RS after the patch and it felt the same as playing franchise on legend. Had to put on my try hard pants and get sweaty to hit the ball.

Pitch speeds also seem to have more zip in franchise. Hard to hit those high fastballs on HOF/legend. Ohh well .... batting cage it is!

So I found the people killing the game. How can you say that it's too fast? It used to be so hard to adjust to off speed pitches... Now all u have to do is sit fast ball high and have plenty of time to react change or slider

They can keep pitch speeds for all I care, there are plenty bigger fish to fry, well documented. They just don't represent the difficulty they say they are, especially showdown from my experience.

The game says Showdown is on Veteran, but that’s a joke. It’s way harder.

I don't understand why they keep ruining the game a week after the game releases. For the first few days/week it feels like they hit the sweet spot to where hitting/pitch speeds should be, then they release a patch that reverts to the same old broken experience.
I get that hitting is a game of guess work, but there should be some level of see the ball/hit the ball. Not every pitch inside should be squirted the other way and timing shouldn't mainly range between Late-Very Late.
It's been my feeling for a while now that they should either slightly reduce all pitch speeds across the board or (my preference) slightly increase swing speeds to represent ACTUAL bat speeds of MLB players. Preferably have it be a player unique attribute. Because let's face it, not all players bat speeds are created equal.
