Were we ever to match up, the game wouldn't go any faster than my pace.. If you're fast pitching I'll R2 you in a heartbeat, and if you don't like it you can forfeit.
I've already said if you want R2 gone, then put balks back on. That way people can't screw with your pitches, and people can't fast pitch. I don't believe that's what you want though. I believe you want to slam people in the head with pitch after pitch, while taking away their ability to stop you.

Why don't the guys pushing to remove it never mention removing quick pitch? And don't act like it doesn't exist remove both of them i'm cool with it.

the problem is you are in the vast minority of people that think like this. thats why R2 is such a big issue. The majority of people dont do it to slow things down, they do it when they cant buy a hit and they are trying to mess with your pitches so they hold r2 on every pitch

If they remove r2, then pitchers should be called for a balk if they don’t come set...that will fix both issues

Not always. The thing in real baseball I can stand with a foot out the box and make the pitcher wait til I’m ready, I like r2 for its actual purpose. I don’t like the ones that hold it either , but if they constantly slide step I will hold it til they stop. If someone does it to me I step off the mound until they stop, or throw anyway bc all it does is cause a minor annoyance but my pitch will go where I want it ( unless the cpu decides otherwise) so just step off til they get the picture or rage quit. The batter controls the pace imo, at least I did when I played. Pissed many a pitcher into a mistake....

No in game quick pitching is selecting a pitch before batter can use any option available, like R3 R2 or a practice swing for there batter. Once a pitch is selected the batter cannot use those options at all. Therefore people hit R2 so they can check how fielders are setup.

No in game quick pitching is selecting a pitch before batter can use any option available, like R3 R2 or a practice swing for there batter. Once a pitch is selected the batter cannot use those options at all. Therefore people hit R2 so they can check how fielders are setup.
You need to check how the defense is set up? Why? Your moving your pci in a certain spot for a certain pitch to try to hit it a certain way to beat the defense? Because if you are that good you don’t need that lmfao.
You’re holding r2 to mess with your opponent and nothing else.
And youre fighting tooth and nail to keep the only way you can troll your opponent for being better than you.

I don't do either Quick pitch nor hold R2. But i know that people who press R2 have a reason but the one who hold it don't. So i'm defending those who don't abuse it. There is a place in the game for it. If you read my previous post it explains.

The million dollar question I have, reading all the opinions of the R2 supporters, is how do you pitch? Coming fully set? 20 seconds in between pitches, squinting in at the signs? Doubt it. R2 is complete and utter gamesmanship. It's a vs CPU tool only, legitimately. Let's get that pitch history up on the screen for the batter during the walk-up, and then let's get on with it. Don't like the pitcher's pace? Step out.

They don’t need it. If you need to see the pitches like I said show every pitch instead of the useless hot zone. Show the pitchers repertoire in the bottom right along with the batter stats. There’s no reason for it.
As far as my tip it bugs me more when dudes just stand there with the ball before throwing a pitch then when they “quick pitch”. There’s a tip for you.
