Take R2ing out of the game.

I don’t even really use R2 to check an opposing pitcher’s pitches. I pause for that at the beginning of the game or when the pitcher comes into the game. After you have that information, just play the game. If you want to slow things down for a moment, I don’t mind if you call time. Just stop with the R2ing during ever AB.

If they took it out they would most likely put a 4 or 5 second timer in between pitches. I would be ok with either.

Are you friggin kidding. You try quick pitching a baseball team in real life, and they'll have their dugout on you. They don't like it, and neither do I. Frankly, they should put balks back on, and then this wouldn't be happening. Put on balks, and get rid of R2 (although it does show your confidence level).

There is no such thing as quick pitching in this game. Either you’re ready or you’re not. Pitchers dictate the pace of play.
In this game maybe, but not in real baseball.

It’s one thing to use it every once in a while but when your kicking the snot out of someone and they hold it every at bat to try to mess your pitches up, that’s BS.
They need to do something about this. I don’t abuse R2 or quick pitch people. It’s annoying as hell to deal with -
Just don't let it interrupt pitching. Problem solved everyone happy.

The happy medium is to make sure people can only press it once per pitch. Right now they can h is 3x

I defended it at first but uts obvious that some people only use it to try and mess up your pitch meter to get a meat ball.
Guy will hold it down then release it and then quickly push it again just trying to mess you up. Its cheese and it should be gone. You should be able to use it at the beginning of an at bat and maybe once after that. So each AB you get 2

Same. I didn’t have a huge problem with it in events but now that I’m playing RS I am sooooo tired of it.

If everyone came set before pitching, it would be much less of a problem. You guys saying quick pitching doesn’t exist in the game are probably slide stepping with Kenley Jansen. -
Just have the pitches from previous ABs pop up like hot zones. Then all the dudes fake whining about that could see their pitches. Put the pitchers pitches on the right side down of the screen at all times. Why not? Hell put the batters stats there too.
By the way speaking of hot zones. Let me toggle that off too. It annoys me, I don’t use it and it’s more of a distraction than anything.
Nobody uses it for any purpose other than to try to mess with the pitchers.
Lol quick pitching. Online games take like 45 minutes. Y’all want it to take longer so you can do the downward dog yoga stretch before each pitch? Gtfoh.
It should 100% be removed. It’s time for SDS to get that done and appease 90+% of their player base.
I 100% these are good suggestions for QOL and actually do believe SDS plays their game. Give it a shot I bet y’all love it.

100% its meant to throw you off. Anyone that says they do this regularly bc they need time at the plate is full of it. what do you need time for? to adjust your batting gloves??

Were we ever to match up, the game wouldn't go any faster than my pace.. If you're fast pitching I'll R2 you in a heartbeat, and if you don't like it you can forfeit.
I've already said if you want R2 gone, then put balks back on. That way people can't screw with your pitches, and people can't fast pitch. I don't believe that's what you want though. I believe you want to slam people in the head with pitch after pitch, while taking away their ability to stop you.

Why don't the guys pushing to remove it never mention removing quick pitch? And don't act like it doesn't exist remove both of them i'm cool with it.

Not everyone. I'll use it to slow you down if I have to, but to use it strictly to mess with your pitching is unsportsman-like. I see no win in a cheat.
