Your Fantasy Top 5 Flashback Cards
-
Every year, my favorite thing to do in The Show is to check out the Flashback cards. Lots of great players, some of whom I completely forgot about (Frank Tananna).
Pick 5 players from your favorite team (try not to pick the Yankees-- they have a million. Major props).
Players you would like to see.
Bonus points for teams that haven't had much of a history (Colorado, Arizona, San Diego, etc.).
I'm a Phillies fan. A tradition of misery.
Here goes...1999 Bobby Abreu- (.335, 20 HR) 85 OVR, 100/115 CON.
1972 Steve Carlton- (27-10, 1.97 ERA) 97 OVR. 99 CTR, 99 K/9.
1980 Mike Schmidt (Post Season) - (.286, 48 HR, 121 RBI, WS MVP) 99 OVR. 110/125 PWR.
1993 Curt Schilling (Post Season)- (16-7, 1.69 ERA in NLCS) 85 OVR. 115 CLTCH. 95 H/9.
2008 Brad Lidge- (2-0, 41 SV, 1.95 ERA, 0 BS) 99 OVR. 100 HR/9. 99 BRK.Honorable Mention:
2003 Jamie Moyer (All-Star, Mariners) - (21-7, 3.43 ERA). 25mph CHG.Yes, I was a pitcher in college.
Tore my shoulder throwing a 12-6 curveball.

2003 Roy HalladayI am a Braves fan and was 13 in 1992. Ed Sprague's pinch hit homer in the 9th of game 2 turned that series around. I believe if we do not blow that 9th inning lead we probably win the series. Both teams were stacked and had multiple future hall of famers.

Ya I was 9 and grew up die hard Jays... Was an incredible series and well matched...
The 93 Jays were much more dominant.
1992 was scrappy with better pitching..
1993 was average pitching with insane offense. Historic even.. Rickey Henderson was almost forgotten in that lineup -
2005 Mark teixeira
He hit over .300 43 bombs, won silver slugger and gold glove. -

The Tigers have a long history of great talents. They seem to have been forgotten as a storied franchise because of the struggle pre and post Leyland. I would welcome any tigers cards in this game with open arms. Magglio is my personal favorite player of all time

They sure do. My dad grew up in Windsor, Ontario and was die hard his whole life, so I know their history well. He loved Al Kaline.

As a Braves fan I would like to see a 1993 David Justice card. He was my favorite player as a kid and had a monster year that year.

Only problem with this list and all the replies:
Players that DONT have a current LS card aren't considered a Flashback. They're considered Legends

Only thoseYea would love a Beltran. Sweet swing and switch hitter. He was so unbelievable in that post season too.

1996 Dave Nilsson
1980 Ben Oglivie
1980 Cecil Cooper
1986 Teddy Higuera
2004 Ben Sheets -
I know you said flashback/legends for a certain year, but I would love a Signature Series Carlos Delgado card. Power lefty with a secondary as catcher. With everyone being a beast on passed balls this year, he would be endgame behind the plate.
