Xbox 1x version but purchased Series X..

So. When I ordered on xb live, it stated version was for Xbox 1 and x/s. I bought it that way knowing I was gonna get a Series X. So fast forward 2 weeks and I have one. Did a full transfer eternal hdd to Series X. Each time I hover over it the title said x/s. Even when it was on my 1x.
Now it seems it isn't optimized for the Series X. Still playable and I didn't lose progress. Stubbs all there. But there were some graphical glitches in DD last night. Not yet today.
So come on developers. Get your [censored] together. Make an upgrade path for 10 bucks because, there isn't any way in hell I'm paying again for X/S optimized at full price.

Meant while it was on 1x, the game tile showed it as series x/s... either way this blows monkey [censored]

Which version did you buy?
I bought the $85 version that included both the 1X and series x/s versions.
When i look at my full library, I can see both versions of the game ready to install.
I just need to pick the correct one for whichever console I'm on to install it. -

Plain bones game. And on the 1x the game tile would show it as such. Guess it's whatever. Not sure what the differences are. Between them all. Other than stadium creator.

I was telling a friend during pre order time that it was gonna be confusing for people. That X/S tag is bc it's optimized for the next gen systems. They should have been more clear. Did you buy the digital version? If so, Microsoft will upgrade your copy for the difference if you tell them what happened and you bought a new system.

If the first pesron says no at Microsoft, hang up and call back and get someone else on the line. I personally know 2 people who have upgraded like that. One had to pay about 21 dollars xtra and the other upgraded to DD version and paid like 36 extra.

I did. How do I go about talking to them. Last I tried it was impossible. I'd do that. Yeah. It was confusing. Here i am. Series X and last gen game. Ha.

Last time I spoke to Microsoft I got on their website and there was a live chat feature. Or just keep calling and trying to get someone on the phone. Just have your account info ready.

I take it you don't have Game Pass? If you did, you could delete the Xbox One version you bought for now, and download the Series X version through that. It's not a perfect solution since you would only have access for as long as it is on Game Pass, but at least you would be able to take advantage of the enhanced graphics and stadium creator now.

What's the enhanced graphics? I run it on a LG CX Oled. Thought it was still capped at 60 frames?
I'm gonna give ole MS a try like the other guy said. Worse case scenario I bite bullet for Game Pass. But I honestly think 64 bucks is plenty for the game already. Lol. Plus the 100 I sunk into stubbs. But I would pay another 20 just for peace of mind.
