The best thing for SDS to do with RS is not completely overhaul it based on some dude and his single game of experience.
For your information i used to avg anywhere between 300 to 1000 games in RS only recent years where i seen it decline in several ways. But kudo's that a person of your intelligence was able to look up a current record. I'm sure server stability had no effect on that result.

No way in hell should everyone start at spring training. That’s ridiculous the fact spring training is even on Veteran difficulty is ridiculous. The only change I would make to ranked seasons is that HOF difficulty should start at 600. Now that is a good idea.
So you don't want a fair game? New lineups and new players? Got season under belt used to game afraid somebody mightv'e learned how to play and prevent you from leveling up quicker? And your ok with skewed leaderboards because everyone didn't start same place?
No, higher skilled players have earned there way to start in a higher division. Trust me players that are in division series and above are just going to mollywhop everyone until they get back up to division series. You don’t want that. It’s not fun for us that are good at the game HOF is the best difficulty to play on and we’ve earned our way to play in the higher divisions. Once you get there you will understand that even starting a new season on all star difficulty is a drag.
Agree i am not a HOF player. 600 at best I hit CS in 2017 and I did not really play RS in 2018. Played some in 2019 and 2020. Played more event games. This year only needing the 40 wins to get one of the WS rewards is worth playing for. If I played a HOF CS or WS player most those games I would quit because there is no point to continue playing if someone is getting crushed. It is not fun. Let those DS,CS and WS players start at higher levels.
There is nothing saying your qualifiers could or couldn't be against people that finished same rank as you. They could make it to where AS vs AS or WSvsWS in qualifiers.

Simple, to see if that person is truly a WS player, or did they slide in there because they played before anyone else got there team assembled, or did servers being down giving them undeserved wins. Alot of scenarios could warrant the qualifier.

What you’re suggesting is exactly how it is right now... they just start at higher divisions. WS players start in Division.. CS in wild card and DS in All star. You suggested the same exact system that is in place lol

Do you make up the majority? Everybody is disagreeing because you complained about your personal pet peeves of why you don't play ranked seasons. The structure is fine how it is.
If you want to discuss fine, but don't assume as to what my intentions are with this thread for a poor attempt to getting upvotes on your post it's rather pathetic.
Your opinion is wildly unpopular and your argument against the opposition was flawed. I have nothing to discuss. Your ideas would ruin ranked seasons for well over half of the player base. Higher level guys do not want to play on veteran and all star and low level guys do not want to lose 15-0 in 3 innings
Mercy rule is at 10 runs. The fact you didn't know that tells me you aint as good as you think you are. And this idea does in fact jeopardize you flaunting the CS Icon.

No one really has an issue with people who quit,

The only suggestion I have for change is if you start the game with Directional, zone or Analog you play the whole game on that setting.

Maybe it’s just psychological but there’s always a long pause then the guy can’t hit everything after not hitting squat the whole game. I always they were changing their hitting input but just thought I was crazy

"Hey SDS you should cater to my wants and needs above the 50 thousand plus other users."
They can't ban people for 24 hours for quitting a video game. Who cares if they quit you won the game and saved yourself some time. Starting at 0 rating would ruin ranked seasons competitiveness. Newer players getting matched with good and elite players. They would lose a large player base. Plus nobody that plays on HOF and Legend wants to reset to veteran difficulty every month.
This; what if the job calls or something urgent comes up and I have to quit; now I’m banned for 24 hours? Nope. Also like this guy said, every new season the top players would just demolish/feed on the lower levels. Not fun for the masses; turn off for anyone wanting to dip his/her toes in RS for the first time or occasionally

I am aware it is 10 runs, but it is also after 4 innings big man. I am 20-1 with my only loss in extras on HOF difficulty. I am just stating that playing people on veteran is not fun for most people and I am not flaunting my CS banner lol.

8 heated responses within 35 mins and you don't believe these are issues?
Every one of the responses are against your ideas LMAO
And? Does that make up majority of fan base? Some places it's only 7 am what is your point aside from attempting to troll?
I am aware it is 10 runs, but it is also after 4 innings big man. I am 20-1 with my only loss in extras on HOF difficulty. I am just stating that playing people on veteran is not fun for most people and I am not flaunting my CS banner lol.
To you both i did retract earlier statement and admitted i got it mixed up with griefing rule after getting beaned concecutively for denying frienly quit.

So half a million people who still currently play RS need to match up with players outside there level for an extra 15 games because you used to play RS? Got it.
You love these servers so I don’t know why your turning on them because it’s now convenient, they’ve been flawless for like 36 hours.

Ban was a suggestion in regards to how other games deal with issue. I didn't say that was final and only solution just pointing out that something should be in place.
And not being a [censored] but am i to believe that when HR got hit and they quit it's due to b/c they got called into work? I realize real life situations happen but by you guys not acknowleging that this happens does not better the game.

I think everyone of us acknowledge that it happens. Your just the only one that cares if his opponent quits.
