Created Player in Diamond Dynasty

My Created Player is a 92 overall right? I chose the Dewey for the diamond perk, which means the preferred positions are 1B,3B,LF,RF,C. So since there aren't many catchers to use, I put him at catcher. But when it comes to steals he has no green bar for the throw down and it's fully yellow even though he has 94 fielding 81 arm 96 accuracy and 85 reaction. I just don't understand why he looks so stiff and uncomfortable at catcher and does anyone know how to make the primary from RF to catcher?

You're not doing anything wrong, and no amount of equipment or perks will make him a catcher. It's just bugged, and until SDS straightens this out there won't be a great catcher played by cap.

It's further bugged than that though. Secondaries for ball player have you behave as if you are playing completely out of position. Not just the 5 point secondary penalty.

this is an amazing FAT L. because I already have Trout, Steve Finlay and Bellinger in the OF. My only position that lacks is catcher where I usually use Salvador Perez 42 card. hopefully they fix this cause I just want my catcher back. Been using my CAP as a catcher for the past 3 years now except this one feels weird not gonna lie.

No i agree there are issues and it sucks for sure. They really are a great team just things happened this year and people have a hard time believing it.

I have the exact same 3B. Ironman and he plays C fine in my RTTS season in the minors. C is the 2nd position listed in his card but when on my DD team "secondary" is blank and he drops lots of pitches.
You say yours catches fine and is "secondary". Does you DD card have C listed as secondary? Or are you saying he catches fine in the minors in the RTTS season?? -

You say yours catches fine and is "secondary". Does you DD card have C listed as secondary? Or are you saying he catches fine in the minors in the RTTS season??No. You can scratch that off. I judged him way too soon. He sucks at c.

Even though it is listed, cap has no secondary. You might get away with it elsewhere, but currently no cap can play catcher (not even as a primary). I use him there when I play the cpu, when I need putouts to level him up, but would never play him there online. You're not doing anything wrong, and no amount of equipment or perks will make him a catcher. It's just bugged, and until SDS straightens this out there won't be a great catcher played by cap.
I have 3rd baseman with Iron man and he plays catcher fine. Never drops it and it is secondary.
I have the exact same 3B. Ironman and he plays C fine in my RTTS season in the minors. C is the 2nd position listed in his card but when on my DD team "secondary" is blank and he drops lots of pitches.
You say yours catches fine and is "secondary". Does you DD card have C listed as secondary? Or are you saying he catches fine in the minors in the RTTS season??Yes if you click on catcher in your lineup you will see him as a secondary. At least i do anyway. I will go double check since there was an update but prior to update it worked fine.
Yup just verified: click on catcher then hit R1 secondary that's where mine was listed. Hope this helps.
