Game-crashing bug

During a Conquest game, my pitcher was up. I tried to check swing, and the ball was suddenly in flight, blooped towards the right field line without my making contact. My batter stood at home plate and wouldn’t run. I had a runner on first, and the CPU tree the ball to third base. The 3B stood there with the ball, my runner scored, but the batter remained at home. The options menu didn’t give me the ability to quit/exit, only look at stats or gameplay options. After a couple minutes, I had to dashboard to restart the game.
