Another shut down inning by Reyes, SDS pretend he is a Yankee, Dodger or Padre. He would be a silver by now.
Here is the update he got yesterday.
Hits Per 9 raised +2
Strike outs per 9 lowered -8Now, his hits per 9 have gone down and his strike outs per 9 have gone down this year. Where SDS gets the plus 2 and negative 8 from is anybody's guess. Losing 2 to your overall seems extreme for a net -6 change
Jimmy Nelson for the Dodgers had a net of -8 points and only dropped 1 in his overall.
Pretty extreme indeed

Buuuump, 15.1 innings ZERO earned, 1.17 WHIP, wake up SDS, dude is a low silver at LEAST man

Is there a reason he was dropped from 67-65???
12 IP ZERO era....ZERO...6/6 saves, 14Ks...is it the 1.30 whip. pretty avg whip?
Shouldnt he be a high bronze at least?
Did he change from SP to RP/CP?
Nope, he has been a RP/CP the whole time. Im convinced these idiots don't watch baseball
The gameplay itself definitely supports your theory!! I mean these are the same idiots who rated Jason Bay higher than Kenny Lofton & gave him a 99 durability rating…both of which are patently absurd to pretty much any knowledge MLB fan

I’ve followed Reyes when he was a top prospect and he was going to something big until he got injured. I was so excited when the roster update came out and I thought he was going to be a silver and then this happened

Dude, it’s a fantasy make believe game. If you don’t like Bay just don’t use him. There’s is nothing in this mode that reflects any kind of realism

I have nothing against Jason Bay since unfortunately his career was extremely short-lived due to the several serious injuries he suffered running into outfield walls!
So to call the guy "injury prone" would be an quite the understatement and all you have to do is spend 1-2 minutes reading his Wiki page to get the sense that he pretty much spent 1/2 of his entire career on the DL...which is why it's patently absurd to give him a 99 durability rating and makes it clear that no one at SDS really watches/follows MLB closely enough to properly rate these guys thereby explaining the original poster's confusion over why Alex Reyes wasn't upgraded while others were for no apparent reason.

Please don't pretend that SDS doesn't love the Cardinals. Year after year after year the """""best fans in baseball""""" have been rewarded by SDS, and this one minor slight doesn't change that

So why not just make everyone's 99 that way you can never loose pitchers to injury either? Or why not get rid of the durability attribute all together?

SDS goes by 3 years (calculated by algorithms, not human bias). Last 3 years:
2019: 3 IP, 5 ER
2020: 19.2 IP, 3.20 ERA
2021: 15.1 IPSo 37 IP in 3 years, 43/26 SO/BB ratio.
Be patient, because for now, the numbers don’t back up your claim. It’s basically like he’s a rookie having a decent year in July if you go by his numbers since 2019. It’ll come if he keeps it up.

Why does it matter? It’s not franchise (sim) it’s DD (arcade). What’s the difference between having 99 durability or N/A above that column to you? Apple to oranges

I'm a Brewers fan but I have Reyes on my fantasy baseball team and dude has been doing great. He does have a lot of walks but if anything lower that control but boost the rest. Should be bumped up for sure.
-
Durability is how much a players stamina goes down, outfielders running towards ball all game means high durability will keep them at good speed, infielders , pitchers would mean the more fast pitchs you throw the quicker they lose stamina, if a player has 99 durability he can throw what 80 fast balls before drained, while a 60 durability pitcher would start gassing out about 65

75 at least, not that I am expecting diamond for him at all but only certain teams always seem to get quick boosts

Anybody watching my man Reyes on Youtube? DISGUSTINGLY filthy, wake up SDS!

Sure he struck out the side for a 27 K/9, but also had a 18.00 WHIP this game. Bronze.

When you have a 0.45 era and a 1.25 whip I think a 75 is well earned.

ERA does not count for anything in the game does it? It does not contribute to any attribute that I know about.
And I say that as a Cardinals fan who would have no problem seeing him boosted some, and I have faith that it will happen if he keeps it up.
