You are forgetting weekends, player programs, moments, collections, umbrella Conquest. I played about 2 hours a night probably 18 hours on the weekends. I work nights so when the wife and kids are asleep I was able to play for 8-10 hours per night Saturday and Sunday.

But it was a stretch. The last 120k xp was almost exclusively play vs cpu

That isn’t two hours a day though lol.

You're still neglecting to account for additional xp through completion of various items. There's more xp than just playing the game. Cap for instance has very nice xp bonuses.

But in two hours a night could you max it out? I doubt it.

There was a dude in here who said he maxed it last week and works 70hours a week. There is a point where it becomes physically impossible to do that.

I work about 90 hours a week and I maxed a few days ago. And i barely played one week cause of travel.

I only play CPU and probably play 2 to 3 horus a night. 5 on the weekend. It wasn't that hard, especially with the double XP. By between all the conquest maps, i think i've finished four collections and doing the monthly I've probably ony played 20 or so full games against the CPU.

Again, the math doesn’t work with this lol. Working 90 hours a week is 12+
Hours a day if spread over 7 days. Do you not sleep at all?

Wtf do you care how people spend their time?

I don’t. I’m saying people are lying at how quickly they are accumulating xp.

    Define "exploit."

    I was doing 30K XP/hour.

    How?

LightSkinChris from Youtube method. Download edited roster with 99 Phillies and 0 Rangers, play exhibition games as Phillies, settings all to go through game fastest with quick pitch, player lock on Zack Wheeler, 9 inning game is about 6 minutes. All you do is mash button to throw a few pitches per AB; don't even need to look at screen, I was watching movies on TV with MLB on Xbox ap on phone. As he advertises, I timed and it is 30K XP an hour.

Is it an "exploit?" There is no exploitation of a bug or anything. It is using features that SDS deliberately put in the game (editing rosters and uploading to vault and saving, combos of settings to make games go faster).

    Yep, so boosting.

Edit: and this is why we can’t have banked xp.

In video games, an exploit is the use of a bug or glitches, game system, rates, hit boxes, speed or level design etc. by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game's designers.

    Yep. It's an exploit.

What feature am I using not intended by the game designers?

Did they have a meeting where they said "lets design the game to allow you to get 30K XP an hour?" No, of course not. But getting XP for exhibition games, editing of rosters, and quick play settings were all deliberate SDS design choices.

Given the server problems I would find it odd people would hand wring over a supposed "exploit" for solos.

Now the one that is probably a legit exploit is the whole XBox and PS account linking thing that gives a zillion XP instantly (that people actually found by accident) which certainly isn't intended by SDS.

Coming from Madden MUT people really overly broadly define exploits. Anything that isn't a bug you are using to screw a H2H opponent I have trouble defining as a true exploit.

The game designers didn't make rosters able to be edited for the purpose of giving you a form to list players with ZERO rating, so you can grind XP for the program XP path.

Your position is unable to be defended. You are using the game mechanics to advance progress in a way that was unintended. When they patch this out, and you come whining about your free XP getting nerfed, you'll maybe realize that you were exploiting.

I don't care what you do with your time. It doesn't hurt me, and certainly doesn't improve your game play. Don't claim it's not an exploit though.

It's not designed to do what you are doing with it. To each their own though.

It's not bannable. Doesn't make it right dude.

I was able to max out last weekend. I had about 70 hours of play. I would say 3 hours during the weekdays and maybe 5 hours on the weekends. My main playtime is not affected by the server problems, so almost 100% of my progress counted. There were plenty of routes to get to 650k with double XP. I did every Conquest map except the West map. I stole on Veteran on every turn and played most of my strongholds on Veteran. That was worth close to 200k just in gameplay (not counting the completion XP). If your prime playtime is 9PM or later CST, you probably had a lot more trouble than I did.

Because it screws the rest of us. For myself who plays legitimately through DD, and tries to grind XP that way, it might force SDS to increase XP goals because some jag off is getting 20kxp a game beating the CPU 50-0 on play now with a roster of 0 players.

It’s like if you have performance metrics at work and someone else is fudging numbers so everyone else is expected to meet those goals.

This is not a brag I know it’s sad I just wanted to put it out there. I got to max xp past Friday and this is what it took to get there. Anyone who is saying they play a few hours a day is lying

    All team affinities complete
25ish ranked games. (Won like 22 if that makes any xp difference. Not sure if you get more for winning)
Entire first and second BR program finished
    US conquest done
    60 event wins
1st Inning showdown and Eric Davis collection

Lol calling people liars because you took a super inefficient route to earning xp is ridiculous. BR program doesn't give you xp. Wins don't mean much if you're getting early quits or not putting up stats.

What gives you the best xp is the missions in the 1st program. You did USA map but not 1st inning or umbrella? You didnt do Streets program? Did you ignore dailies? Did you do any of the moments or missions (10 prospect hits, 42 hits and rbis?) I'm assuming you got the 6 online saves based on games played and the other 42 missions done if you finished all affinities (unless you're not using them at all)

I did all 4 dailies every day (rolling ones that weren't effective) - approx 6k xp per day.
    1st inning showdown.
    I did the 42 collection (8 of 10) - 50k xp.
I did Houston Street and Davis programs for 35k each.
Both Umbrella and 1st inning conquest (not touched USA map yet). + the West affinity map.
All the moments and missions under the 1st inning program - 10 online wins, 10 prospect hits, 42 series hits and RBIs online with 6 saves as well. These are like 7.5 - 15k xp each. Moments were like a total 20k all together.
I played some BR. I got to like 21 event wins (plus like 8 more that didnt track for the rewards) and was like 8-3 in ranked by the time I finished.

Think ballplayer program has some xp rewards for progressing which I did while grinding conquest maps progress for the inning. Got my last 35k from playing a handful of ranked games. I also tried to do the topps now moments when they release.

The TL;DR version - Dont call people liars because you're inefficient with your progression.

Put it this way, with double xp if all you did for two hours every night was play the CPU on rookie you’d probably get about 15k a game of you really blow them out. That is two games and 30k a night. It’s been roughly 20 days since release and far is still only 600k Xp.

That ignores sever errors, time playing other modes like conquest where you are having to sim games, etc.

Simply put, stop your flexes. You are either lying or you took advantage of an exploit.

lol it’s actually very easy and doable... If you knew how the my player progression worked you would understand too haha
