Liam Hendricks Worth a Spin?

I’ve been chilling in the high 600s and he holds up. Got to use his slider and fastball off of it

That 2 seamer is my go to for hader. People expect the slider or a FB. With so much movement, in on lefties or away on righties produce weak contact.

Plesac and hand for cheap Lefty. Hader for money
Is Hadar good online?
I’d think Chapman would still be a better lefty. Believe he’s got the splitter this year so a little variety gives him the edge for me.

Hey all--
Just pulled his 85 live series just now. My pen is currently loaded with right handers ranging from 83-91. I'm thinking about selling him off for around 23K stubs--and continuing to dabble in the market for a possible lefty--but would appreciate any feedback from y'all that have used him.
Keep? Sell off? Taking suggestions!
Appreciate it,
KM
In your situation I might sell. I think there's a lot of really good lefties out there like a few others have said here. Gold Plesac, Hand, and Chapman all play.
That being said, I also packed Hendricks last night and he gave me two perfect innings on 14 pitches last night in a game where I couldn't get a pitch past anybody with Castillo. I'm going to continue to use him and see because I'm almost done with the AL collection anyway.

I love Hendricks. Great slider.

Hader should get a changup too! He has thrown it at a career high amount this year, yet does not have the pitch in game. Check baseball savant, up to 5% usage, and is pretty nasty irl.

Hendriks has had a rough start to the year. Not sure how quickly SDS is yanking diamonds this year, but 2020 MVP and MLBTS20 90 OVR Jose Abreu already lost diamond status after a slow start in April. Hendriks is the only Sox LS card I don't have, because I'm just not willing to drop 30K when he could very well be a gold in a couple weeks. I suggest selling now because even if he's on fire for the rest of the year, he's never going to be worth more than whatever he's going for right now.

I’m still so confused on how Abreu dropped

I'll never understand why he's so quickly dismissed. Since his debut in 2014, he's been about as consistent as you can get -- basically a .300 / 30 / 100 guy every season, and nobody really talks about him. Even now that the Sox are looking like contenders (in theory, lol), articles always talk about TA, the pitching, and the young guys, but somehow Abreu doesn't get the credit he deserves. I think Freddie Freeman is actually a very good comp for the past 3 years (including their MVPs last year). Freeman is off to a slow start just like Abreu, but he's still an OVR 90, and Abreu is a gold?? Come on... someone at SDS must not like the Sox, because TA has been a beast for a few years now and he just barely made it to diamond last year in their final update, even though everyone and their fat, Maury Povich-loving, crusty-mouthed, diabetic mother was 87+/

Well said man. The whole “we take 3 year stretch to rate players is BS cause if you did there’s no way you drop him this [censored] early

This. Excellent against righties. Get a lot of K’s offline. Not sure about online. Plus the pinpoint seems to have a timing my fingers agree with.

Threw a pretty nice change for his 2nd K today. Fastest to 400K in a career.

He sure did! Yeah, pretty cool for him! Pretty satisfying watching the 7th, 8th, and 9th for the Brewers last night. 8 strikeouts in 3 innings. A lot of changups!
