Hitting isn't too hard necessarily. Just extremely inconsistent and unrewarding.

Should leave the game alone after launch. No patches no fixes you make he game and put it out leave the dam thing alone.

All the top players are devastated by the patch. If you like it you must really suck at the game and like when user input isn’t rewarded and enjoy a RNG fest.

But if u ask Joe Shmow who supposedly is the best player ever he will tell u that the hitting was to easy and the game needed a patch. And then will tell you to stop playing or go play a different game if u don’t like it. Meanwhile he’s a bottom third player whose playing the majority of his games offline against the computer and doesn’t even know what we are tlaking about. I would have to say I’m not a top player but idk how you can not agree that the patch def hurt hitting. Also there new “batters eye” worked great. Fouled off pitches that were in ur eye but didn’t square up. But with the new patch now u wiff on balls like a centimeter below ur middle circle. So you just patched out a new feature in essence haha congrats

Hitting on AS is not too hard. It’s not rewarding enough. HOF idk, but legend is definitely too hard imo and it doesn’t even consistently reward good input

Playing Hof offline I was getting a lot of perfect hits with the ball just inside the circle. Now you don't get it at all unless you are perfect center circle. Makes sense but it hurts gameplay. I think as long as you can find the ball in he circle should be rewarded because I don't like seeing hits where the ball is out of the zone or barely touching the pci

Getting consistent soft contact on good input doesn't make hitting "hard", it's just s***y programming.

When we spend $60-$100 on this game we want a fun and satisfying experience with gameplay. But it seems we spent all that money on broken horseshit when it was perfectly fine at opening. So everyone can [censored] as much as they want on the gameplay.

I'm not a great hitter and I thought it was way better before the patch. This is just inconsistent and frustrating. Especially in Showdown where they have the sliders juiced.

This game was not fine when it came out. Way too many homeruns. I don’t know how anyone likes playing it that way. I don’t want every squared up ball to be a homerun. In baseball their are singles, doubles, triples, and homeruns. Much better now boys. If you don’t agree your lying to yourself.
