Mercedes may get one. I doubt Rodon gets one with his 87 topps now card, especially since its likely Buxton will be the lightning player and the rest of the POTM cards are usually like 83-87 (or something close to that).
I'd expect to see either Burnes or Duffy (or both really) and Vlad Jr at least. The rest I wouldn't even know where to start. Melancon for a pen option? Bryant? Walsh?
-
Rodon is worthy! His numbers are minuscule! Hopefully he gets a really good card! But you know it’s goin to Buxton.

If there are big names involved, SDS doesn’t typically follow the actual MLB PoTM selections. You could get a Buxton, but I’m not expecting to see a new Acuna that competes with the live series 92 Diamond. They would have to give Acuna speed,
Contact, and power that they tend to only allocate for end of year cards for Acuna. I don’t think I’ve ever predicted an SDS POTM card accurately in years.Tatis Jr. last year was a consensus choice that I think everyone got....was also one of the best cards of the year.

I agree he is right up there in line to deserve it. Only reason I don't think he gets one is because they came out with that Topps Now card. I don't think they'd double up on him.

Unfortunately you are likely to see cards like pitcher Gausman. Nobody wants a Gausman except for perhaps some diehard Giants fan.

Both of them already have dope cards. Give us Vladdy & Buxton
-
I know his batting average isn't great but I can see one of the POM's being Rhys Hoskins, 8 homeruns already if he keeps up this pace he should hit 40 and he's a player that SDS has always liked.
-
Give me an 87 Kendall Graveman, I'll be fine.

My guy TR should definitely get a

JD Martinez

Vlad Jr. Will get upgraded cards throughout the year. He is a star.
POTM henchmen are usually smaller names in a smattering of players from teams that lack playable cards. Mark my words, if a Pirate took a dump that didn’t smell right he will get a POTM henchman card.
I’d like to see events with overall caps which allow for POTM cards to break the theme...Ie cards with players under an age gate + April POTM cards.

So excited for Buxton. Already have him fairly high on the PXP
I'll tell you who won't be POTM... the entire Twins bullpen. Dear God.

That would be cool to see. Nice to see that guy rebound!

Have they posted a time for the content drop? Can't recall if it was 3pm EST last year. Finding that not having the SDS Twitch streams leaves me wanting.... Loved those free twitch packs.
Usually 3pm EST. I doubt they'll do twitch streams or hype content until the server issues are resolved.

I’m a Braves fan and I loved Melancon last year on team. Could use him this season for sure. I will say this. He gets the job done, but he flies by the seat of his pants. Just about every game there was worry that it wouldn’t get finished. In a way I understood why Alex didn’t bring him back, but he’s definitely doing well for the Padres. Glad it worked out for him. Braves bullpen arms are terrible this year. Every single one. Numbers can be so misinterpreted with BP arms. I look at inherited runners allowed to score and walks. ERA means nothing.
