Diamond 42 No Sell Choice pack is the closest thing you'll see.
I was thinking along the same line except a choice pack featuring the old XP bosses: SS Gwynn, Kershaw, Thomas, Newhouser... Those ones from 19.

They will not compensate for this. The extended XP is probably the most you could hope for.

I lost the 1st inning showdown because of an error which is 35k alone. I’m not doing it again because I hate those showdowns and I’m afraid it will crash again. Add in not being able to play and not counting xp correctly I’d say I’m short 100-150k xp.
I’ve played 60 hours, and only have 400k xp. That’s absolutely absurd. Xp should be geared to 1-2 hours a day getting bosses. And beyond that extra rewards. I’ve averaged 3.5 hours a day and still barely am over the bosses.
Either that’s a ridiculous grind, xp isn’t counting? Or they need to adjust the zip path.

I've only played DD for a few years, and never as much as I am now, so I'm learning the market. I question the concept that the market would inflate due to a stub stimulus. I get the simple economic lens. Correct me if I'm wrong, I thought the market gets a reset after a period of time.
Additionally: Though it's a market, it's not !stonks!, it's inventory. So couldn't we argue that by giving packs we increase inventory thus decreasing the value of cards?
So either the value of stub or the product decreases.
The best option maybe a 42 series No Sell. Or some other no sell. Maybe even affinity tickets.

That's something different then. If you are putting that amount of time into the game and have that much XP that is very weird. Have you completed everything besides the showdown?

That's something different then. If you are putting that amount of time into the game and have that much XP that is very weird. Have you completed everything besides the showdown?
I’ve done a couple of the conquest maps, a bunch of TA showdowns, all the moments. The only conquest map I haven’t done is the USA one and umbrella.

I feel like the choice pack should be a higher calibre than an 87... These cards are more or less going to be run of the mill after the evolution/Topps Now/POTM/events cards continue to be released.
Given how frustrating this has been, if SDS released a non-sellable diamond as comp, but tried to go as low as possible on it, I think I'd be more annoyed than had they done nothing.

I think honestly...
Whatever they do: if it's compensation make it meaningful and actually demonstrate that you'd take an L to make things good. If it's a token effort that requires no skin off their backs, I'm not sure that sends the right message.

A non-sell diamond choice pack sounds fair, but those of us who bought the deluxe editions for unplayable early access should get a little bonus as well. Just no standard packs, a load of commons and bronze is a slap in the face...so at the very least a ballin bundle

There is no amount that would be adequate compensation because no matter what they gave the board would immediately fill up with angry messages either complaining because they didn't give enough or complaining that they gave anything at all, leaving them to wonder why they even bothered.

42 series pack or 20 pack bundle. Giving people stubs would be pointless because inflation will cancel out whatever amount of stubs they give you anyway. Giving people XP would be stupid as well IMO
20 pack of common and bronze is pointless too.

This sounds good to me. Even if I get bronze, common and gold in the ballin packs I am assured a diamond towards collection. I like this idea the best. Just packs don't cut it unless you get extremely lucky with a good pull. I haven't had one yet out of probably 400+ packs so packs are useless to me.
