Why tf did they make Showdown so hard.

Easily on my 10th try for 1st inning and i cant score 4 f'n runs when i play all the way through, but am able to get 7-10 runs when I skip to the end.

Like a lot of modes in this game unfortunately the most I can tell you I get lucky mayn

I think it's a mental thing. Pressure added in the thought of failure and having to start over again.

I got a perfect/perfect HR robbed dude. Solid contact unable to find gaps the whole game. Couldn't get one ball in play. Only scored 3 runs cause I got walked to load the bases. Either they walk you or paints the corners.

Yeah playing this mode makes me feel like it’s 19 all over again with all the line outs and good/good and good/squared up outs.
But I still like the addition of the mode and have fun playing. Not sure what I’ll do if I ever get all the TA players I want from it lol

Right after I said this I was playing a showdown vs Ohtani. Tied 3-3 runners on 1st and 3rd with one out left and Yordan Alaverez up and before the first pitch without even taking a lead off Edgar Martinez gets picked off at first base.....wtf???

@allday9128 its insane. such a waste of time too, i pretty much have been trying to be this and flipping cards, barely anything else.
I will play this once per program until i beat it and thats it.
