God I hope they bring them back. I suck at online play so without them it's kind of hard to get to 300 stars, let alone the 1000 that they've got now.

While there are moments in showdown it's clearly not the same as last year. You get no benefit from playing them unless you beat the final elimination challenge.

If they're expecting you to get even close to 1000, they have to. Cus the current list of missions etc dont add up anywhere close.

I'd rather have missions you can earn stars on an individual basis. Last year we got like 3-8 stars per. Showdown is good as an additional route to get even more but shouldn't replace what we had last year.

I know how Showdown works but you don't earn stars for each mission. I dont want to feel forced to complete Showdown. Plus now that the program goes to 1000, there's not enough content to get there.

So last year if there were 10 moments for 70 total stars and you could only beat 7 of them for say 50 stars, you don't see a difference between that and this year's all or nothing showdown mode?
Or are you just being obtuse?

Moments were free and repeatable. Showdown is not a good substitute.

I gave up on Showdown. So that is 0 stars rather than perhaps 50 of 70 with partial success. If there is no way to get to 300 stars for me then Franchise mode here I come.

Although, since I do spend money on stubs each year, not playing DD would save me money. Maybe I should thank SDS for turning players away from DD mode.

There are moments in showdown but that does not mean they will be the only moments. Showdown's all or nothing outcome is not a good replacement.
The Granderson program has moments and will grant 20 points when completed.
It is a little too early for This Day in History style missions so I still hold out hope that we will see those in the near future.

Exactly. Last year I may only have needed 50 of the possible 70. I just cared about passing 300. The "all or nothing" mentality of Showdown I dont like IF there wont be individual missions for program stars.

Yeah dont worry, idk if theyll be specifically “inning missions” itself. But im okay if more things like the granderson program. Im one of the ones that just wants to get to 300 safely without showdown

Feelings exact. If the replacement for individual missions is multiple player programs at 20-30 stars each and we can easily reach 300 without showdown by the time each program ends, I'll be happy.

I am wanting the moments as well. I am stuck at 100 program stars because I don't want to play Conquest or Showdown.

That's what I hear but it just seems like it would take me weeks on end to complete the map.
