Stop with the cancel culture BS, He hasn’t been found guilty in a court of law so just relax already. It’s just a card in a game If you’re that concerned don’t use the card.
I loathe cancel culture. I mean some of it yeah it’s justified but most of it is so stupid.

this isnt even cancel culture. MLB found out he did something inappropriate and fired him. very simple

Does anyone actually even know what he did yet? You can be "sexually inappropriate" by telling s woman she looks great in jeans these days for crying out loud! My goodness whatever happened to letting something play out before being absolutely torched? I hope for all you who are thrashing the guy have never done anything that could be deemed inappropriate these days. If it comes out that he did something foul, then yeah farewell chief. But man until then atleast give it a chance to play out!

For all the people saying that telling a woman these days she looks nice could be considered misconduct If you dont know the difference between a compliment and misconduct you are definitely a creep.

Ehhh you should go read through some reddit subs. Twoxchromosomes and femaledatingstrategy absolutely push a position that a lot of innocuous things are harrassment.
I don’t know what happened here as there is zero details, but I do find it tough to throw the guy under the bus, especially based on an incident from 2014 which is 7 years. It can only be a he said she said situation at this point.

There are limitless reasons for not speaking up right away. Being in a position where noone is going to listen and your career will be ruined because you are speaking out against someone in power. You are embarrassed or ashamed(a lot of victims feel shame and blame themselves or even feel like they deserved what happenned because of the trauma they've been through). Those are just a couple examples So bringing up how long ita been as a reason not to believe someone is nonsense.

Well, sucks for you since you won't be able to watch the 1991 or 1992 Blue Jays World Series championships anymore.
No one pretends OJ Simpson wasn't a member of the Buffalo Bills.
1992 and 1993 you mean...
Twins won in '91

the mlb isnt going to ban a HOF player bc he told a lady she looked nice. theyve investigated already. obviously they found something suspect enough to cut ties.

You don't have to honor him, but pretending he doesn't exist? Removing all traces?
Sorry, sports don't work that way, especially team sports.
What are you going to do when playing as the 1991 Blue Jays?
????????, 2B
Joe Carter, RF
Kelly Gruber, 3B
Manuel Lee, SS
Rance Mulliniks, DH
Greg Myers, C
John Olerud,1B
Devon White, CF
Mookie Wilson, LFIt's '92, being their first title and it was
- CF Devon White
- 2B ????????????
- DH Dave Winfield
- RF Joe Carter
- 1B John Olerud
- LF Candy Maldonado
- 3B Ed Sprague
- C Pat Borders
- SS Manny Lee
The '93 team was even better..
Replace Winfield with Molitor, Tony Fernandez instead of Lee, Rickey Henderson instead of Maldanado..
And Olerud, Molitor, and ?????? Finished 1,2,3 for the batting title..
Anywho.... -

I agree he definitely had to have done something bad. I was just referring to all the people saying "nowadays you can tell a woman she looks nice and it could be considered sexual misconduct". People are creepy man

I mean, MLB cut ties from Atlanta for the All Star Game over lies regarding updates to election laws, so, no I don't think he had to have done something. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, but right now in the current environment an accusation is enough for an organization or business to cut ties. We wouldn't have a game here if every player, coach, former player, etc. was investigated for misconduct because you'd probably be shocked at what would come out.

bro this investigation was done by a third party as well as this news came out of no where. I highly doubt they banned him from baseball over "lies". Its not as if the lady reported publicly and they banned him without due diligence. she reported privately and they investigated pretty quietly as well

Personally I agree with the move but that's a completely different topic that I'm not gonna get into here. I think the fact that even after an investigation was done so many people still strongly defend the man is another reason why so many women don't speak up in situations.

Imagine needing a safe space because a card was in your inventory. You don't have to use it though and it can be buried by getting better cards...
Seriously no one even knows what he allegedly did so who the hell are we to judge?
Wait are you trying to tell me your not going to judge someone without all the facts? Shame on you! Let me guess you grew up in a time when they didnt give out 9th place Ribbons?

I'm not defending him. He's likely a POS, he has a history ...including not disclosing his HIV to his wife. What I'm saying is the game is full of POS's... If you dug a little you'd have noone to put in the game.

idk if you know this but public judgement means absolutely nothing in this situation. the MLB felt they had enough of the facts in their investigation to ban him. thats all that matters

im sure youre right. but does that mean he shouldnt be punished after an investigation found he was up to no good?
