Just thought of something too: I assume he will get a hitting upgrade. But is there a way to actual use him in the OF? I don’t think so. That would be nice. I thought they were considering that with the emphasis on two-way players this year.

As time goes on, yeah they went be worth much above quick sell value because more cards will be out there and people catch on to stocking up.

Lol right, I’ll probably be one of them. Yadi should be a lock because he only needs plus 1. BUT I hold back on people who get injured. I got screwed a couple years ago because Story was on fire then got hurt mid season. I feel like they would’ve bumped him but they never did until later in the year when he was playing again. Buxton had me nervous this week though lol and they were off yesterday.

shoot he is a silver. i still use him regardless, he’s a beast. p sure he plays a couple positions but sometimes they don’t get it right that would be cool to see austudillo or rizzo on the mound lol

If Ohtani gets a hitting upgrade that wont matter to his overall - pitcher overall ratings ignore their hitting stats so if he gets there it has to be on the back pitcher upgrades

The person you responded to mentioned Trea but also said “ Go look at the guys who are already priced as if they’re in the next tier”. While you mentioned “prospective diamonds”, you didn’t say anything specific about Trea or Teams that have multiple diamonds already. Unless you already said that in another post, I apologize. But I was just readin those two comments. But yeah people who invest in Trea or anyone who isn’t the first diamond on the team are goofy lol

Trea turner is going to sell for over 5k because he already does and has since the beginning. He’s one of the best hitting 99 speed guys there is with 4 position eligibility. Plus his pull rates will drop.
Not that I invested in anything but just commenting on that.

That's only because people think he's going diamond. Doesn't mean he will sell for over 8k if he does especially since he's like the 4th diamond on the Nats. I disagree. Not with the premise of what you are saying but just with using Trea Turner as an example. I think he goes up when he hits diamond because his value is not tied to the collection. He’s always been an expensive gold.
Edit I did see turner up to like 11k now. Not sure he goes up from that but if he goes diamond I think he stays right about that or ticks up slightly.
I do chuckle when I see silvers selling for 1k plus because that might go gold when there’s little chance they sell for over qs value even as a gold.

The think with Ohtani is I'm not sure hitting attributes effect a SP overall in the slightest. Like at current pitching attributes with maxed out hitting he wouldn't change. They will likely bump K/9 or something just enough to make him gold

That’s fine. I know changing his hitting attributes won’t affect his overall, but they should still be increases anyway. And, he should get some pitching increases. And we should be able to play him in the corner OF if we want.
