So did they fix the equipment issue?

In their update notes I’m still a bit confused, did they fix the equipment not adding for RTTS, or was it meant to not affect your RTTS player?

No. I try and equip my player and it shows I have no equipment at all.
I have earned 3 compression sleeves and 2 pairs of sunglasses. When I create another loadout and go to equip my player none of them (nor any other items) are showing up.
I'm getting sick of this. -
No they didn't. Equipment still doesn't apply to your character within the RTTS game modes. Please file support tickets for this so SDS is aware because I filed one and still haven't heard back

As far as equipment stats counting, it has always counted. It does not add to your overall or reflect in your attributes, but if you look at your player card it will show a plus increase totalling the sum of your equipment.

That may be true that the show in your player card but the don’t seem to do anything. I can take off the +18 speed equipment I have, go into a game and I run the same speed as when I had them on. If I go into DD I can tell I’m faster. So I don’t think they are working. At least on the Xbox

You can also pause the game if you get on base and look at your speed. With my equipment I should have over 100 speed but it still shows, on the pause menu, that my speed is still an 83.

Yep that’s why I say gear in RTTS still useless and it was one of the big 3 things I was hoping would be in this last update.

I won't earn any XP, but I'm thinking about putting the sliders up that would apply the equipment boost. I want to enjoy career more the way it's intended though.

I seem capped on xp from 1st base thing I’m not getting anymore rewards. Do you RTTS attributes still gain numbers and your archetypes still progress if you use sliders?

that is your perk bonus, not equipment
