42 Series Mariano Rivera!! Also for years Roberto Osuna and Kirby Yates have been dominant for me. Other early favorites so far include Chad Green and Dan Plesac.

Lol. It’s always been in the game. Only difference is you can see it now.

The Jansen has been really good so far, and Billy Wagner. Got him to Parallel IV

How do you have Wagner to parallel 4 already? What mode are you playing to get him that much action? I'm guessing events.

Gagne and it ain’t close. You playing me in the 9th down one just quit.

More affordable Devin Williams always my first arm out.

Ha funny. Some of us actually hit Gagne really well, you bring him in against me in the 9th and you'll regret it.

The accuracy of the Jansen card is true to life. Hits against him everytime, I stopped using him completely, however Will Smith is doing wonders for me.

No sir. The ball would go anywhere last year. This year it actually goes in the vacinity.

It's not Dennis Eckersley and 42 Mariano Rivera. They drop so many hanging sliders down the center of the plate it feels like I'm playing 2020 again.

@T-rox_09_MLBTS ive been using him as a starter in events, but with all of the conquest maps I’m giving him 2-3 innings and 1 AB one very game I play. Gets boring but also gets the job done

We will see because he’s coming. I don’t pitch like other people. Not that I’m a top player or anything but I’m different.

Eckersley (A's collection), Mariano and Jansen are my three-headed monster out of the pen. Street has been really impressive in a small sample size.

Wood and DIbble are really solid for cost. Wood is a relatively cheap set reward and Dibble is free. My best pen arm vs the cpu is Kimbrel. He is great with the fast windup.

My Pen right now is looking solid, there's only a few guys who are on the outs and I'm actively looking to upgrade/replace:

    LRP - Silver Pedro:
Has the stamina (40 I believe) to hang in there and finish an inning if my starter gets stuck and can usually give me a full inning of work after that. Does a great job getting ground balls with that circlechange and weak contact off the end of the bat working it with the slider away to righties. Occasionally he's good to squeeze out another full inning of work if he really has hitters off-balance, but that's only happened a handful of times against players that were basically out of the game. Great bridge to some of the killers at the end of my bullpen if we need to eat some innings to get there. Not unhittable but holds his own, I believe he's sitting at around a 2.8 ERA for me right now.

    MRP1 - Joe Smith:
I know, I know, sidewinders are straight cheese and I should be ashamed for using him. I'm not ashamed! Joe Smith has been wonderful for me. Whether it's a Pedro off game and my starter's day is waning or I need a strong inning to try and claw my way back into a game with the bats, Joe can always come in and give me a great 20 pitches of work. Once his stamina is gone, it's BP, but those 20 pitches are generally going to result in lots of weak groundballs and even strikeouts on slow sliders that look like a (still slow) sinker until the last second. 1.32 ERA in 17 IP for me, really really solid and I can always count on him.

    MRP2 - Troy Percival:
Percival is the kind of pitcher I destroy, but for whatever reason he's found a lot of success for me. Works really really quickly and can get taken deep, but really doesn't get hit around. He can still pitch effectively with 0 stamina, so he comes in a lot as a pseudo-LRP2 for me. His versatility has been my favorite part of using him, he can fill a long reliever role as well as come in late as a setup guy and finish the game if we stretch it out and the save opportunity is gone. His fastball has a lot of late life and has a penchant for missing bats. The 12-6 Curve, even when people should be expecting it (ground ball situations), gets huge early hacks that are generally resulting in a frustrated walk back to the dugout. Percy is sitting around a 4.2 ERA and has been a great option if I get a solid lead and need some innings eaten, but I usually look elsewhere if I'm in a jam with runners on.

    MRP 3 - Lee Smith:
Lee is probably going to get slotted into the MRP 2 slot before long, with my MRP 4 (sneak peek) hot on Percy's heels and playing a similar role to him; likely to slot in behind Lee at MRP 3. Lee Smith has not only been bulletproof but in his last 4 appearances has given me over 2 full innings of work. The guy goes up there and deals. He's a strikeout artist, leveraging his high velocity and dropping off breaking balls to generate swings and misses at an astounding rate. Lee Smith will enter a game, throw a fastball low and away and have it get foul tipped, and the next 5 pitches will be swung on and missed. His stats aren't anything insane, his velo is great but his break stats aren't crazy and he is still the best arm to come out of my bullpen when I need a strikeout. Despite the stamina he's shown me on several occasions, I've been considering saving him for situations where I need a strikeout (no outs/1 out runner on third) because he's that good. He's sitting at a 2.1 ERA for me and has been very impressive thus far.

    MRP4 - Nick Anderson:
He really shouldn't be as good as he is, but Anderson has been like Percy 2.0. Throws the fastball, sinker, and 12-6 (Percy throws the 4 seamer with a 12-6 and a change) which I have had more success with as a pitch mix than I expected. Does a really great job of getting out of jams and making double plays happen when a mistake puts someone on base, but struggles to get strikeouts if the 12-6 isn't getting hitters to chase. Sitting at a 4.1 ERA, Anderson is a solid option.

    SU1 - Jeurys Familia:
Holy heck. Familia's first appearance for me he was like a wild mare being broken. Wild as they come. Threw 1.2 innings, walking 2 and hitting one batter. No hits, but did allow a run on a boneheaded Evan Longoria fielding error (needless to say, he's been dismissed from the active roster since). 22 innings of work later, he's yet to allow a run. Possibly more impressive, he's allowed 2 hits and struck out 26. Once I figured out the tempo for pitching with him and got his pitches under control, he's darn near unhittable. The splitty/slider/sinker combo is ludicrous and pitches get on hitters so quickly that most of the time that they can make contact, they aren't able to put it in play.. Thankfully I haven't had to hit against him yet, but I'm (foolishly) hoping that I'm just really good with him and he's not as unhittable as I make him seem (again, a foolish hope to have). His ERA is a pristine 0.00 in 23 IP, he's been the absolute star of my bullpen.

    SU2 - 85 Ovr CAP
71 MPH changeup? Check! 101 MPH fastball? Check! High, looping 12-6 curve that rarely cracks 68? Check! 6'10"? Check! Disgusting, abhorrent, filthy submarine release? Wait.. that's Darren O'Day's music!! In all seriousness, go make yourself a RTTS dude and get him maxed out. Nobody can touch this man when he comes out of the pen. The only hits I ever give up with him are curves that sit up at the bottom of the zone instead of dropping into the dirt. Generally homers. I blame myself; to shield my precious monstrosity from any obviously undue criticism (directed mainly towards his 50 control 12-6 curve, spoiler: the criticism is both fair and due). 1.6 ERA in 18 IP, also recipient of the MLB's ugliest player award.

    CP - Mariano Rivera
Who else did you expect? Mo is that dude. If there's a save spot, he's coming in. I don't care that my CAP or Familia would probably guarantee the win, we're in it for those stats. Mo comes through more often than not. He's allowed one run through 8 IP and the 5 saves he's earned (I've brought him in a few times to close out a mercy rule game, which doesn't count as a save but should!). Maybe a little boring, but I get excited every time that I get to call on the monster closer to end the game.
