How about Gagne, Giambi, Brian Roberts then?
None were suspended and admitted only to doing them before it was banned
Then surely Bonds, Clemens, McGwire, Sosa, Canseco and Palmeiro should be in the game then? The only two players that fit your profile are Arod and Manny. SDS isn't keeping those guys out of the game for using roids. They won't give up their rights for anything less than SDS' entire legend budget
I guarantee SDS adheres to what MLB and MLBPA says what they want or don't want to be represented, just as they do about charging the mound in a video game.. some of those names are absolute no go's for the league I'm sure. Just as Pete Rose would be.
In 18 they had Lenny Dykstra in the game and had Aubrey Huff in 19. I don't think the MLB cares who they put in the game. Ty Cobb as well, even though his story is mostly inaccurate.

For the 2nd time after filing for bankruptcy in 2011, being named on the Mitchell report, and serving half a year in prison in 2012
Fair.. I'm not defending Dykstra lol.. just that his 2nd arrest sealed the deal on him is all.

The real travesty is if it's true they lost the rights to Teddy Ballgame... That's a crazy loss.. He is as much a staple to any baseball game with historic players as Babe
I have no knowledge of why he's gone, but from history, his kids were in a nasty battle for his rights, and they took advantage of him big time. Kind of happy those people aren't making more money off their father's name

I tend to agree with you here, as the reason Clemens and Bonds are singled out is simply because they were the 2 of the greatest players in history. Bonds being statistically the greatest.. Clemens easily top 5 pitcher all time..
What hurts Bonds case on top of that is his mouth... And what hurts Clemens is being a central figure in the Mitchell report.Did they use? 100% they did.. are they hall of fame worthy anyways? I believe so. The greatest talents I've ever seen roids or not.

I remember in past years there would be launch videos and or hints on Twitter for who the new cards could be being released each week. Is this still happening? Really took the excitement out of the new card releases in DD. (Don’t think this was in last years game either.) Major miss, especially with all the negative press around this game right now due to the servers. It would give players something to look forward to each week and have something else to talk about besides the [censored] servers that have crippled the game.
Also disappointed that we are referring to Huston Street as a legend. How is there not a contract for any of steroids era guys and clear misses on HOF players.

Even then, Eric Davis and Huston Street aren't any different from the first inning player programs last year, which were Curtis Granderson and the Kerry Wood that is currently the Cubs collection reward
