I did this a few times last year just to do some comparison of pack history.
You can go through the inventory menu on the forum and check pack history to see actually how lucky or unlucky you've been. Not including any gold packs, silver, or choice pack.
To date opened 156 show packs,
17 gold equipment/Unlockables
16 gold players2 diamond equipment/Unlockables
7 diamond players (Yelich, Hader, M. Chapman, Devin Williams, Yates, Seager x2)Feel free to add your history, will update in the future as the year goes on.

I haven’t gotten a single diamond player out of a pack this year. Opened a good bit of standard packs too. I had terrible luck last year and looks like I’m gonna follow suit this year. I got a bunch of golds so I guess I can’t complain, I did get to 200,000 stubs already before I blew it building my team.

I do decent flipping cards so I know I can always make stubbs. I've went through probably another 200 packs at least, pulled Bieber, Matt Chapman x2, Mookie, Judge, Hader, Bauer x2. I am on a roll this year!!

My 9-year old loves opening packs and wanted to buy 100 yesterday. He gave me some cash and I added stubs to his account. He had 8 packs saved up. He opened 108 straight packs with ZERO diamonds at all in them. My jaw was on the floor watching and afterward I handed his money back to him. I've never seen anything remotely close to that kind of bad luck.

I had terrible luck with pack I spent stubbs on last year. I had most of my luck with the free TA packs. This year is just completely different, I know I'll pay for it later when I go through a dry streak and hit nothing for hundreds of packs.

how do i check how many packs ive opened without having to manually count them?

I just kept buying bundles since I've been having great luck. I spent $50 on stubbs when I bought the game and that's all I've put in. I honestly can't believe I've had such luck.

2.) once in, right below the "my account" option is a drop down, click "INVENTORY"
3.) from the inventory screen, click the drop down one more time and click "open pack history"
4.) review history and contemplate why you're as unlucky as your history demonstrates
