Been saying this for yeeears, if there were a current gen MVP Baseball 2005, they wouldn't stand a chance.

I’m just disappointed entirely. Last played 19 when I owned a PlayStation. Skipped 20 after they announced they were going multiplatform. Was so excited and talked this franchise up to so many of my Xbox pals. My stamp of approval is now worthless as nearly every friend I talked it up to has given up and went back to playing outriders ark and madden.

Ive only played 1 RS game which i was winning in the 7th till it froze. I got the win but ill likely refrain from playing more ranked until they get this fixed.
While i dont think its feasible to extend the 1st inning what might work is if they double up when the 2nd inning starts.. so you accrue 1st inning awards and 2nd inning awards concurrently. They did this a few times last year.

Been back and forth with them and Microsoft about a 100.00 Stubbs purchase that never populated , and the following day I decided to do a bundle with the Stubbs I did have , sold my Bieber , some prospect diamond SS I pulled and Mookie betts. Or at least I thought I was selling. Never recieved Stubbs yet they all three sold on the market. Not to mention the countless time lost on games. There is no way to make it ‘right’ at this point for a lot of us without completely destroying the market economy.

lol what? Of course they do. That's beyond common knowledge, and the reason it is on xbox this year.
MLB threatened to take exclusive licensing away if Sony didn't offer the game on other platforms. So first, you're painfully misinformed. And second, you can thank MLB for the influx of millions of additional players, crashing servers that have been stable for the last 3 years.

Yep, all our hope for a good baseball game now lies in the hands of MLB. They won't allow this to continue, so they'll have no issue pulling the license for "breach of contract".
Last night SDS was on life support, today is the day they died as a viable video game company.

OOTP is a baseball sim.
Those other games pay for the rights to specific players, but they do not have the official MLB license.
I can make a game and pay Walt Weiss for his rights, that doesn't mean I have MLB rights boss.

Until their multiple game modes and menus stop sending non-stopped information to servers, it won't be fixed. That will require a complete revamp of menu programing and layout. If they get that done by may, they deserve a standing ovation.

yeah.... Don't say things if you don't know the facts. There weren't any major server problems since '17 and they were worse than this. People don't realize that this was a smaller game until they put it on xbox and gamepass. Obviously their smaller servers weren't going to be ready for this

Ive played every installment since 2006 and my memory is just fine, thanks. Hows yours? You came in at 18 right after the absolute worst launch in the history of The Show. And im guessing you missed the deleted progression issues of 18....what were you, a "i'll buy it when its $50 cheaper" consumer? And who can forget the first patch for 19 where they had to address a novels worth of issues? Obviously you. 20 was a fairly smooth release but still had its share of issues and disconnects, not on this level but again [censored] happens.

"novels worth of issues", none of which included the inability to play the game.
The game is a literal brick right now, they've connected everything to DD this year, meaning without servers, you can't play a single mode.
