You're just angry because I don't struggle with this game or game mode and you do. I work 40 hours a week, have a family and a social life FYI. Keep being angry friend, I'm totally fine with where this game is right now.

I don't care if you think I'm a good player or not, maybe one day we'll match up and you'll find out for yourself.

They should just change showdown difficulty to rookie, that would probably help

First showdown post patch I faced Sale for the second boss and crushed him. Then I had like an 8 run cushion and easily got by Cole. So 1-1 on showdown. Didn’t see a change

Really good players are still going to beat showdown. Average players now have little shot. What the patch did was add more rng to center/good swings (ie less perfects). So now, when 2 equally skilled people play instead of pre-patch where whoever had the best swings would win, now rng is going to decide just like last year.

Knock on wood, but i’ve been hitting just as good. Although some of my good goods or good squared ups have just been hit straight at the center fielder, i’ve not had a problem. i’ve had a lot of success using power swings too

I will now argue that showdown is easier than pre-patch. While the hitting is much harder and more random, they made the blue missions worth more. If you get them all, you now enter the boss tied I think

SDS really turned the sliders way too hard
they have 0 consistency in their game playing modes - don't call it veteran if it plays like Legend on Steroids
really poor execution on the gaming devs end

They don’t even need to do that, just set it to actual veteran instead of veteran pitch speeds with legendary bs and sliders.

Right. It has the pci of hall of fame but it’s veteran.... I breezed through to the last showdown every attempt, lost some won some.....
I’ve tried 3 times and can’t get past Nola today. I hit multiple good good/squared up right at the OF like last year and hit two perfect perfect fly [censored] 20 feet short of the wall with Soto and Eric Thames.
As for conquest I didn’t notice a difference, played on veteran and score 10-15 runs in every game I played but one. The difficulty sliders are what is screwed, and the pitchers paint the corners the whole time with off speed, when in other veteran modes they consistently get most of the plate with any pitch....

I don’t want to rain on anyone’s parade but I’ve hardly seen a difference. Beat the AL West showdown today (I actually struggle more vs Ohtani than Verlander)
Also played NYY on Allstar to get Granderson and won 9-1 while playing gold clash on my phone

I believe him. There are people who are good at this game. Nothing wrong with that.
The difficulty I have is when these people think they represent the average and make claims of things being easy or not very difficult.
I did well in math. I could sleep through class and still ace exams. From grade one all the way through to my masters. It was just easy. For ME. No way would I ever think my lived experience was the same for everyone else and telling others who struggle that something was easy would be massively disengious to them.

just played a showdown losing in the final moment tied because the last 6 outs I made were perfect/perfect, good/squared up, or good/good. Why is that a thing?
