Tried returning this piece of junk.

Gamestop won't take it back because it's opened. I tried trading it in for store credit. Apparently "at this time they are unable to accept the Show 21". No explanation was given.
It's likely because it's such a sh*t show that they know they can't resell it.

This is by far the worst year ever with this launch. The game itself is stellar. Not being able to complete anything, getting server issues every game and/or actually playing the game, completing something and getting zero credit for it is unacceptable. If you think otherwise you're brain dead. As for playing secretly, nah, I'll play the [censored] out of this game if it worked. Just like every year.I have no problem waiting for this game to be patched, I don't start my Franchise regular season till like mid June. I use two weeks from launch to get a base on sliders and then I begin Spring Training and make slight adjustments to sliders so by the time I start the regular Season, my sliders are mint. By that time there might be about 3 patches released and the game will be great and polished. I could see you online casuals wanting to collect your cards and building your fantasy All-star teams cause you need servers up for that but for guys like me just working on sliders and practicing for the regular season we're fine

That's actually a fantastic idea. Honestly this year's game play is stellar. The issues are with the connections.

I have seen people say this is the worst year for launch for this game. Does no one remember 17 when you couldn't play at all for weeks maybe months?
The servers are bad but no where near the worst they have ever been. They will be fixed, whether it's because they actually did something to fix them or people got tired of waiting and quit playing to lessen the load on them -

The servers are bad but no where near the worst they have ever been. I had to do this with another game once. It was completely buggy and unplayable.
Went to Target. Bought a new copy of the game. Waited a few hours, went back into Target with the open copy I already owned. Handled them my receipt. Said it doesn't work. "Gives me an error when my system tries to read disk". Asked to replace it. Took that sealed copy back to Gamestop with my receipt for the first copy I bought. Not saying that is what you should do. But just sharing a story.

Others think its genius, but didnt you buy the game twice and got 1 refund?

Yeah I know, I didn't play at all last year...all I played was 18 games of the Jays Spring Training..that's when Covid shut everything down and so did I. When I say I'm a sim player that's what it basically mean...SDS didn't implement a schedule for the actual Season for last year so I didn't play it, simple as that. I'm a Franchise player thick and through..I make moves to mimic the RW results and do 30 Team control since The Show 2015..last year was a bust so I didn't give a F. Played Spring training, 18 games like in RL and shut it down.
