    Oh horsecrap! It is not a yearly thing where every mode is effected! It's usually the online modes only and it is usually resolved after 2nd day! This year was different and you know it!

    Covid slowed development which was part of the cause for late release, then throw in MLB forcing them to offer it on multiple platforms, oh yeah and coding for 3 platforms they never worked on before. So enough with all the blame SDS they have a big fanbase why? Because 9/10 times the gameplay is superb aside from first hiccups.

    So yeah i personally gave them a pass before it even launched b/c of the aforementioned. But if you don't want to acknowlege that's on you but don't sit there and tell me how the game has been like this every year when i've played and pre-orderd for last 11 or 12 years.

    And i never once said people shouldn't be upset b/c that's not up to me to decide how someone else feels. And the same goes for you! You don't have the right to tell me what attitude i can or can't have toward a company.

    If i want to come into the forums and voice my opinion i can! I paid the same $100 everyone else did! You are just butthurt cause i slap you around with facts and common sense! Well you put your pants on one leg at a time just like everyone else you are no better than me! So you can take your advice and feed to someone who doesn't know better. Have a nice day! 🙂

    Ok please show where I said you cannot have attitude one way or the other? I said that is the attitude that causes companies to produce stuff that doesn't work properly at launch. If this year is so different then why have they given compensation 3 different times? Why was it in 17 that games would go into the queue and be lost forever? Why was it that in a couple of other games that things didn't track properly and took them more than a month to fix it? Every year there is stability issues with the servers, that is a fact that you like to throw out there. Just because you can play a different mode, why should they get a pass year after year when it's the same issue over and over?

    On top of that, why does it have to be a disaster like this at all when there is a track record of it being screwed up? Because road to the Show or March to October work fine but other parts of the game don't so that's ok when diamond dynasty is the 2nd biggest played part of the game and the major reason a massive chunk of the fan base is buying it is for that reason but yeah, just go play a different mode, have patience? What a stupid thing to say. Your don't like people complaining, fine, dont read the threads, simple stuff. Is this year different? With covid and Xbox, yes it's different but you know what the funny thing is? It's the same issues from 3 years ago when there was no Xbox. So again, why should they get a pass for pushing a product that doesn't work correctly?

    RTTS and MTO definitely do not work fine. I agree with everything else though.

    Berating someone, naming calling and personal insults are uncalled for.

    I think about the phrase “the customer is always right.” And examine that.

    Are customers right to name call, insult etc. etc.? No that is not right. Now, does a customer have a right to complain when a service that was paid for is not working to the full potential it should? Yes. Yes the customer can and should say something.

    If you’re playing the game on game pass, step back a little — MLB TS is a fraction of the games made available. For those that paid $80+ for early access or $60+ for the game, they have a pretty good gripe to express.

    Every morning, since Tuesday, the game has been down for maintenance from 6am-9/10am CST and slows down from noon until about 9pm CST. There are people who have purchased this game who have yet to get online and as a result they’re losing XP opportunities, dailies, and time to complete the first inning challenge.

    It doesn’t help that SDS has been very silent when it comes to communicating with the community about issues and how they’re being addressed. (Basically A tweet here or there)

    Some customers maybe wrong in how they express their frustration, and the customer has a right to express frustration when a producer does not fulfill what was promised to the paying customer.

    Look i'm not looking to get into a pissin match with you. Because frankly i'm tired of it. I will say i'm a paying customer just like every1 else.

    When i referred people to play other modes it wasn't to have them just say oh ok just be ok with it and let it go, No it was because i was trying to look out for the new people to know there was ways to still earn xp and progress towards rewards that would be there when servers came back up.

    Am i frustrated? Yes i am but it does absolutely no good to get on here and argue with others about what has happened. So when you said it was attitudes like that referring to my post it was implied you were referring to me. When and if they [censored] me off they will know it! Because i do overlook alot because i look at each launch seperately and weigh all factors of the situation.

    Get over yourself, I said nothing about you and if you took it that way, that's on you. Funny how you say you don't want to get into yet say that I'm butthurt because you use facts against me. I never said you can't have a certain attitude yet you fly off about it saying for me not to tell you how to feel but you tell people complaining thwy have to relax so in turn, you tell them how to feel or act. The difference between you and me, I stay with a point and try not to be hypocritical. Stop thinking everyone responding to you has some vendetta against you. Trust me, you aren't that important to me to hold any grudge, I don't even know you.

    Regardless of how you take it, that attitude and giving them a pass when things happen year after year is why it happens plain and simple.

You act like they're not doing anything. Be patient or go get your 80 dollars back. Quit acting like 80 dollars is going to bankrupt you. Its 80 dollars

    ummm, this isn't the first try?? they've always had server issues. and they knew ahead of time that the player base was going to double. These same server issues have existed for the last 4-5 years

You would think the fact SDS choose to make two modes, Arcade and Simulation it would give these newbies a way to play their pick up arcade game would satisfy them but no, they still have to complain. Yes, the game isn't perfect, fastball pitch speeds could be a little faster even on Legend at Pitch speeds maxed, and some of missed ground balls which are blatant errors are being called a hit but maybe this would be realized and it will be patched in later.

    Really..still using the same old tired material?

    I paid for a product that should work. That doesn't make me entitled, that makes me a customer, and if it doesn't work I want a refund.

    Ok please show where I said you cannot have attitude one way or the other? I said that is the attitude that causes companies to produce stuff that doesn't work properly at launch. If this year is so different then why have they given compensation 3 different times? Why was it in 17 that games would go into the queue and be lost forever? Why was it that in a couple of other games that things didn't track properly and took them more than a month to fix it? Every year there is stability issues with the servers, that is a fact that you like to throw out there. Just because you can play a different mode, why should they get a pass year after year when it's the same issue over and over?

    On top of that, why does it have to be a disaster like this at all when there is a track record of it being screwed up? Because road to the Show or March to October work fine but other parts of the game don't so that's ok when diamond dynasty is the 2nd biggest played part of the game and the major reason a massive chunk of the fan base is buying it is for that reason but yeah, just go play a different mode, have patience? What a stupid thing to say. Your don't like people complaining, fine, dont read the threads, simple stuff. Is this year different? With covid and Xbox, yes it's different but you know what the funny thing is? It's the same issues from 3 years ago when there was no Xbox. So again, why should they get a pass for pushing a product that doesn't work correctly?

    Look i'm not looking to get into a pissin match with you. Because frankly i'm tired of it. I will say i'm a paying customer just like every1 else.

    When i referred people to play other modes it wasn't to have them just say oh ok just be ok with it and let it go, No it was because i was trying to look out for the new people to know there was ways to still earn xp and progress towards rewards that would be there when servers came back up.

    Am i frustrated? Yes i am but it does absolutely no good to get on here and argue with others about what has happened. So when you said it was attitudes like that referring to my post it was implied you were referring to me. When and if they [censored] me off they will know it! Because i do overlook alot because i look at each launch seperately and weigh all factors of the situation.

    Get over yourself, I said nothing about you and if you took it that way, that's on you. Funny how you say you don't want to get into yet say that I'm butthurt because you use facts against me. I never said you can't have a certain attitude yet you fly off about it saying for me not to tell you how to feel but you tell people complaining thwy have to relax so in turn, you tell them how to feel or act.     This is the attitude that allows companies to have bad practices. If this was the first time this has happened, I would say this is bad but things will get better but this is as yearly as the game itself. But if you are going to build your game around online modes and now tie in offline modes like RTTS online, then the servers need to be working. I really didn't spend 100 to play exhibition games vs the cpu...

    Server issues I can deal with. But I can't even play mt RTTS ballplayer because he gets defensively replaced in the first inning every time. This started after the game switched my position. So basically breaking the game with no hope of playing . All the other bugs are just annoying

    Here’s the thing. It’s not just the 100 I spent on the game. It’s also the time I’ve taken off work to play a game that is unplayable. So to say people don’t have the right to be upset that they spent money on something they can’t use is just ignorant. Now yes if the servers were working people would be complaining about a different aspect of the game and then at that point it’s people whining just to whine, but whining because you can’t use something you paid to use is not.
