PSA: Don't Link both PS and XBOX Accounts!

Seriously SDS. JUST AN UDPATE WOULD BE NICE. LET US KNOW YOU SEE THIS GROUP. We preordered your game paid extra and it’s like nothing is being said. So many of us feel like we’ve been scammed. Tomorrow will be a week and nothing has really gone addressed. Victor gave us a mini update, saying you know it’s an issue. But can you reassure us a solution is on the horizon?

Seriously! Why are we left to try and fix this on our own??? At least reply with a middle finger or something so we know you're reading this. Unacceptable customer service!

Spent even more time this morning going through the PlayStation support chat. This is what I was told:
"After doing a further research I noticed that MLB the Show already confirm there has been some users experiencing this type of issues; however they are already working on a fix to have this sorted out as soon as possible."
They also declined my request for a refund. Basically every incentive we had for pre-ordering the game has been wasted. Not everyone wants their money back, and if SDS would just respond with an update say "Sorry, we're working on it, we screwed up" then I wouldn't either. You know the service is bad when I'm googling how to start one of those stupid petitions or the costs associated with a class action lawsuit. Seriously, SDS, put us out of our misery already.

Haha, i was googling the same thing earlier. Sad isn’t it? My ticket hasn’t even been responded to yet. I’ve even sent updates. Terrible customer experience. I regret pre-ordering, unsure if this is my last The Show game at this point.

I have the same issue, Wednesday when I linked my accounts I lost all my Stubs, cards, and items from the Jackie Robinson Digital Deluxe Edition.. put in a ticket this morning. I may pursue refund as I paid $99 for something that isn't available to me any longer and the experience will no longer be the same. I even did the "restore license" thing that the support suggests and that did nothing but take away all the stuff I earned lastnight.
What a disgrace this is.

With all due respect your fixing the community market (online/ via theshownation). Yet y’all are neglecting the fact that a whole group of us have had our preorder content erased. And every time we try your troubleshooting steps (such as unlinking, or restoring license) all out content is wiped and progress erased.
Seriously guys. Answer us today. We’ve tried to be patient but this is ridiculous that we aren’t even getting the assurance that all will be restored, even if it’s just a matter of time.

It would nice if support could have one master thread about this, and pin it to the top until it gets resolved. I find myself jumping between 6 different threads to get updates on this.

I recieved an email and all it did was have overly worded instructions on how to link/unlink accounts. This did nothing for me BTW.
Anyone else not able to even connect/link PSN? Mine will not no matter what I seem to do.

Same here, I got that generic email too. I'm expecting a fix or path to a refund from SDS soon. That's really the only option at this point. We shouldn't have to deal with a broken product.

Seems like another option would be to see their server time stamps and out data, stubs, collection books etc. Then have us erase/unlink/clear start over whatever you want to call it and have us start from scratch. Then award us back the items we've earned or in case of pre-order bonus, give them back.
I see it could be an issue deleting everyone's accounts and starting over as those that paid for the FULL BLOWN expensive version would feel cheatd that every gets those rewards too, I don't want anything I didn't pay for, but I'd rather not loose the things I did and also the progress I've made.
I bought the middle of the road pre-order PS5 version (if that matters).
On PS4 all my collection and items are showing up, currently it shows I have around 40,000 stubs from playing, would be nice to not loose those stubs along with the items in my collection book.

I had the same platform exclusivity error when I followed their instructions. At least you had them answer your ticket. I’m still waiting for the canned response.

I sent an email to SDS and was surprised I was answered almost instantly, but it was the generic info most of you have seen as well; link/unlink instructions.
Right now, my Dashboard shows my XBX and PS5 are not connected to my online account, so I am hopeful it is being worked one.

If it's "Restore Licenses", that's one of the templated responses we've been getting but hasn't worked,
What's weird is none of my items are showing on the website, nor are they on my PS5 or XBOX, but are showing in my PS4. The wild goose chase continues.

I saw this got posted about 30 minutes ago in the User to User help section:

Just wanted to update and let you know we've put in a few fixes already and we have a fix coming soon for those who are unable to UNlink.
Thank you all for your reports, details, and patience while we see this through.
Positive sign, but nothing yet about re-linking accounts which is the spot I think most people are in now.

I hope we see a fix ... unfortunately, I made the assumption this was all working and tried it without doing research. Lesson learned!
I see my inventory on the show account on web site, so that's a good sign ... I will play RTTS for now until fix is in.
Everything was going so smoothly ... I just wanted extra convenience of playing on xcloud (at least testing for a month in trial for $1). -
Many of you say you can view your inventory on theshownation.com just not in game (PS, XBOX).
Is this the case for all of you? My lost pre-order content doesn't appear on the system (Xbox) or on theshownation. However when I look at my "Order History" on the Microsoft Store, I see my Jackie Robinson Bundle voucher. But in game all this disappeared as of last Saturday.
