Just read that Franchise is broken as well. So that means that literally every single specialty mode in this game has some kind of fundamental problem that makes it not worth playing: DD- Servers crashing every 5 seconds, RTTS- Progression not tracking, MTO- Random ineligibility to earn rewards, Franchise- Roster issues. How sony took Cyberpunk off the store but allows this to stay up is beyond me. It is absolutely mind boggling how your QA team messes up this bad.

mic drop ......well said

Literally all of those except RTTS progression stem from the same issue:servers. RTTS progression might be the fault of the servers too for all I know

It's really sad that they didnt fix the servers again this year. We are such fools for paying for "early access"

Early access was a legitimate scam, seeing as how one day after it opened everything went to hell.

Why? The three days of early access, while maybe not perfect, were the most stable days that I have played so far.

Couldn't agree more. Does anyone know if they use dedicated servers for the game? Or if they still have 2020 data on these servers? Also wonder if TheShow website is hosted on the same server. I have never heard them advertise dedicated game servers. However going from 1 brand to 2, 2 consoles to 4, wouldn't we expect them to have dedicated servers?

they do not use deticated servers . been a complaint of mine for years its all peer to peer unless they have changed recently.

Yea peer to peer sucks, but I was more talking about hosted data more so than gameplay. Bc if everyones progress in 2020 is still reporting back to the same "server" (PC) as 2021, then thats much more resources required in the server PC to handle the load. Instead of seperating each title. Its easy to add more drive space on a server than to reconfigure a new one. A lot of AAA games have been known to share servers across multiple games. On top of that, if they are hosting their website in house. Its most likely on the same server, different partition, but same server and we know what kind of traffic the website handles.
I would have thought this to be separate, but just out of curiosity I checked the 2020 market once the Marketplace server came back up for me, and it was just as slow and unresponsive as the 2021 marketplace. This is not exactly my area of expertise, but I know you can host 1 website with multiple name servers on multiple different servers or all on the same. I would have thought the obvious choice for any website with this much traffic would be to have each name server dedicated to its own physical server. Can anyone clarify this?

The MTO issue is not tied to servers. People are randomly being told that their campaign is no longer eligible for rewards even if the servers are completely fine and they have had no issues. It is a bug, one that invalidates all progress you made to that point.

And what are the rewards tied to? The DD servers. It's 100% a server issue man

Rosters are incorrect and when people try to access the roster vault, it stops working.

100% correct, all the issues are tied to insufficient un-optimized servers. It's like they didn't know how many people were about to login on day 1 and play for a month straight.

I would be more apt to believe somebody played it on rookie and didn't understand the structure of the rewards of the mode.

Read what it says in the mode! "Rewards cannot be claimed without internet connection." Which means rewards will be there when internet connection is established. They implemented that feature when they launched it.

IF the servers recorded your game that is.
