RTTS Progression Work Around

You don't have to do all this. It's a glitch with DD.
All you have to do is go into DD and play one of any type of game, even if it's just a single plate appearance in the moments section.
Then go to RTTS and it will work for awhile if you're lucky.

Ok well i tried all those methods and they didn't work for very long and that is why i did this method today and i literally got more accomplished in 5 hours gameplay than i have all weekend.
Your choice if you don't want to do it, but since doing this it has been flawless for 5 hours straight for me.

Yeah and my method worked for all of Sunday. Like I said... if you're lucky. Its different every time for how long it lasts. Just like the guy told you in the other thread, it worked only one game for him.
Your method is basically mine with extra steps for no reason. So I'm just trying to save ppl the time when they're already losing so much with the dumpster fire of a game.

Just don’t have equipment on any load out and it will work in both modes

Yeah and the update broke it again. This is literally after update and equipment works too. But that's fine do without no sweat off my brows. I'm enjoying the hell out of it!

Yeah, I noticed that too. Been playing one game on the usa conquest map before hitting rtts. Its worked the last few times

Here's another I found it on reddit and felt like sharing as it's the first one to work for me since Friday.
As others have mentioned, the progress on these tasks for say your Sparkplug or your other type of archetype not getting recorded seems tied to this horrid loadout system. I've had it working for hours and then seemingly randomly stop recording hits and at bats.
I've found a successful method to magically get it working again. I've used it at least three times now after progression stopped recording.

Retrun to the main menu (outside of DD or RTTS) select your player icon in the top left corner
-
create a new loadout; you don't have to modify or change anything on this new loadout, I leave it as the default loadout name activate that loadout with the activate button back out to the main menu

go back into your player, switch back to the original loadout you want to work on and activate it

(optional) delete the non-activated new loadout you created. You don't have to do this but it prevents you from selecting the wrong loadout in-between games and causing you to have the bug occur again
It's horrible to have to resort to a weird work-around like this, but this loadout-progression bug is infuriating. TBH I can't believe this bug made it through QA testing. Even more unbelievable is they haven't fixed this with a patch yet.
Hope this works for some people whose main enjoyment from the game is RTTS (like myself) and helps you get those upgraded archetypes with the better stats!

I found last night just playing a couple missions then going into RTTS made both my hitter and pitcher load outs progress fine. I’ll try again today and report back

Yeah I'm not going to jump through thirty hoops, say the alphabet backwards, dance naked in the moonlight, and sacrifice my first born son on the off chance that it MIGHT work for a couple of games. They need to fix it, it has been an issue for almost a full week now.

They should not expect us to make do with a convoluted work around that might work for a couple of games. We should be calling their customer service line all day and letting them know that this is unacceptable.
