I beat the tutorial easy, then it took a couple days to get any groove in the 1st inning, but I beat it. Now I'm doing NL East to get Nola and Soto. I really have to tune in and be patient. At the lower difficulties you're going to get a lot more contact, but also a lot of BAD contact. If I'm on veteran or rookie I exclusively power swing. You can also mess with analog or directional swings and see if they work better for you on the lower levels
Edit: Also what Yankblan said, get a silver SP and a silver RP. In divisional ones I tend to skip the SP though

Beginners and 1st innings. Haven’t tried divisions yet. Pick one SP, one RP/CP and the rest mashers. Perks: anything that boost contact when you have 2 strikes or losing, or RISP. Pretty easy.

I beat the AL East and AL West ones, took a couple tries mostly because of the superman fielding.
Basically just draft power hitters and play them out of position.

I'm 5 for 8. 1st inning, AL west x3, AL East. I just lost one though, where I was down 4 with like 13 outs left and couldn't catch a break to save my life, had 3 perfect/perfect outs and a few good/squared too. Almost broke my spare controller. Lol I love it, but I do get how some newer players can get a little frustrated.
