Wow... I did not see that referenced.... terrible. RTTS is my primary game mode.. to not be able to carry over my player? Sad... I loved being able to play an entire career...

Just wait, in my opinion they screwed up much more than just year to year saves. Be ready to have to spend some stubs to get the equipment and perks needed to get your player up to diamond level.

I'm trying to play through it now... been looking for perks, but can't see how it works yet. Does this mean "Showtime" has become something like a platinum piece of gear beyond a "stub" wall? Won't like that... showtime gives my player a chance to be a hero at least once a game. Doesn't always work out, but when it does, it feels great and builds on the character's story.

Save Transfer in MLB The Show 21 (Franchise & RTTS)
Let’s cut right to the chase and deliver the bad news. San Diego Studio has cut the transfer save feature in MLB The Show 21. You will not be able to carry over your progress from MLB The Show 20 for Franchise and RTTS over to MLB The Show 21. You’ll need to start completely new files this year.
This will no doubt come as a big bummer to players that were hoping to transfer and carry over the saves as they have done for years now. -

How can you introduce an option in 2015 and now dont support it in 2021, I only play RTTS, dont really care at all about Diamond Dynasty. SDS, enjoy the money but I'm returning the Jackie Robinson Edition that I paid 100.00 for tomorrow. I'll get my money back........You have 48 hours from time of purchase to return the [censored] game at Gamestop.

How does GameStop check that you haven’t used the upgrade and bonus content codes?

You can still import files from the cloud, technically. The option is there. It just doesn’t work.

They stopped the year to year saves because your RTTS player this year can be used in Diamond Dynasty and they most likely don't want people carrying over their RTTS to Diamond Dynasty with 99 overalls.

Never been the case to ensure everybody starts the new game on a level playing field card-wise.

Been playing a franchise since the show 16, just did the 2028 all star game so I’ve played 12 and a half seasons on it but have to remain on mlb 20 forever if I want to keep playing it. So disappointing
