Server Downtime

While I understand that the game has been freshly launched, it's pretty discouraging to pay extra money to get 4 days early access and have that very limited amount of early game time chopped down by server maintenance. The maintenance downtimes are in the middle of the day for me in my time zone. I hope for some sort of compensation for the missed time.
They need to do some maintenance! Game is jacked up right now

SDS has consistently done server maintenance over the last few years at 3 a.m. Pacific time. Pacific time not specific time. During the year usually happens once or twice a week and only lasts 20 to 30 minutes usually. This isn't anything new. I check the website every day to make sure I don't get caught during a server maintenance. Takes 10 seconds... but I look at it like at least they're consistently updating and working on the game. I suggest to use that down time to grab a snack or take a [censored]. Anyway those who are new to the game just be aware oh, check the website regularly and you won't have any problems

Hi all, UK MLB The Show player here. Paid the extra money for 4 days early access and have suffered from the servers constantly booting me out during conquest games & challenges. Turns out 3am Pacific time is 11am in the morning here which is a pain as just lost another game! Any ideas if we'll be getting extra stubs as compensation?

Maybe another tech test closer to the launch date could help solve some of these issues before so people that paid extra don't feel like they're paying to play a beta version.

I know the server maintenance is inconvenient for some, but the fact is probably 90+% of this playerbase lives in either the US or Canada. They have it at a time where most of their players are asleep. It may screw over European players but it's just something that has to be done at that time

Please understand folks that a server maintenance, patch, and restart will NOT get you compensation with packs and stubs.
Not sure what other online games you have played over the last 20 years, but you don't get compensation for everytime the server is restarted in any game.
Please have reasonable expectations.
In addition, time zone issues have always been based on the location of the game company servers. For UK folks, I don't care for Elite Dangerous reboot times as they coincide with my east coast US, but I don't hit their forums, complain and then demand compensation.

My point is we pay the extra money for a service that's clearly not ready. I'm being kicked off the server every 10 minutes at the minute and losing progress/conquest games. It's inconvenient and the stubs as recompense is surely the least Sony could do?

I haven't lost progress on any aspect of the game so far.
Historically, your connection is likely the cause of the progress being lost and your disconnects. I cannot speak to your connection specifically because I'm not familiar enough with european residential internet, but I have extensive experience over the last 25 years with latency, PnP and node pathing to know that being halfway around the world isn't helping you.

Understand your reasoning but I've been playing The Show games now for over 10 years and haven't experienced this before. That being said though I must say the game itself is fantastic. I'm loving the gameplay & the new layouts.
