It will be awhile before games on consoles will utilize the 120 hz. I think its going to take awhile for tvs with this feature to become the norm. Its possible using a monitor may open options in the near future but I believe most people still use consoles on TV's.

They are already out. Unless you are referring to hdmi 2.1 so that it can run at 4K 120 FPS. Those are limited.

I truly believe 4K @60 FPS will make this years game. It really makes all the PS5 and series x games I’ve played so much better. My kids play fortnite at 120 FPS and absolutely love it.

I would rather have 120 FPS in the 1080p myself

Both consoles have utilized 120Hz since launch. On Xbox, I’ve played Call of Duty, Halo, Destiny, and Ori at 120. On PS the only game I’ve tried is Destiny, but it works, I also believe Call of Duty can run at 120 on PS. It’s a shame The Show doesn’t have a 1440p or 1080p at 120 option. At least if you’re on Xbox, you can force 120Hz output to get lower input lag.

I didn’t know you could force Xbox to run at 120

HDTV Test had it in one of their videos. The games won’t run at 120Hz, but the tv will act like it is and you’ll get the tv’s120Hz input lag. For example, at 60Hz, my tv’s input lag is 14ms, at 120Hz, it’s 6ms.

Wow, thanks for the confirmation but that is disappointing since the new PS5 patch just dropped.

Will it have raytracing at 4K?

Lol, no "next gen" features on the next gen console. Ill cut them a break though. It is the first year. Calling 120 fps and RT and such "next gen" is weird anyways. Since it has been a thing for years. Just new to consoles.

@Collin_SDS_PSN When will this game be at 120 FPS? This is a new console, I think I can speak for everyone when I say that this is expected.

Yeah consoles are so far behind pc even with the big jump they just made. People used to playing games at 30 FPS going to 120 will be a noticeable difference.
