ARodYeah - I suspect it will include 30/30 as well and potentially other milestones as 40/40 by itself wouldn’t have enough cards for a series.

I don't think that series is just a 40/40 club series to have just 3 or 4 cards I think it's a "club" series so we will see 30/30 guys and 300 strikeouts in a season. The 300 strikeouts in a season could spawn 5 or 6 cards with the active players and legends that are in the game now Kershaw, Mad Max, Verlander, Walter Johnson, Pedro, Feller. That said I think you need some BIG name guys for that series so a Big Unit card for 300K season would be

Unlikely. I interpret it as there being more ways to make stubs/earn cards. Maybe it they add other ways to earn WS/Flawless rewards (although that kills incentive to work to WS/Flawless outside personal satisfaction). Obviously will need to wait until tomorrow for more deets.

I think its a milestone/"rare" (or hard to accomplish) feat type club -- similar to what you're noting. A few notibles
40/40 Club (likely only Soriano at this point)
Triple Crown winners (Miggy, Mantle, Ted Williams, Gehrig, Foxx, Hornsby, and a few others)
300 strikeouts in a season (quite a few can be used between current/legends)
300 wins in a career
4HR games
Perfect game throwers? (Cy Young, Catfish Hunter, Dennis Martinez are all in the game and opens a door for quite a few legends -- Randy Johnson, Cone, Wells, Halladay, Felix)Some other achievements might be like: HR in first career AB (theres quite a few current players), Players who hit for cycle, HR streak (a few had 6+ straight games that are in the game) etc

All cards are grind able: Doubt they get rid of BR/RS only cards. No way you can grind out if these modes for these cards because it would tank the market. But interested to see what they mean.

Yeah, these may be milestone type cards that are seasons worthy of note but did not earn those players actual awards the year they happened.

I am of the same mind. They may actually consider winning a BR run grinding. Hard to make assumptions without knowing their definition of grind.

I wonder if they are going to merge the BR 12-0 and the WS rewards. “Play the modes you want to play. To earn Signature Series Ted Williams, go 12-0 in BR or make World Series in ranked seasons!” For example.
It would help with the scarcity of the BR rewards, at least. And kind of streamline things a little bit. With all the new players I think they are going to continue to encourage the “play the way you want to play” mantra.
Also I think “all cards are grindable” has already been in place, right? You could achieve every card in 20 by just playing (or buy on the market). Technically that was already true. Yes you would have to be a very good player or accumulate a lot of stubs, or both. But it’s still true that every card was achievable

Yeah. No way they make 12-0 cards available by just playing the CPU. While it would be cool to get those players; that will kill the market and there will be alot of backlash from the players that make their stubs that way.
Guess we'll find out tomorrow.
(Is it bad that I pushed my conference call from 6pm EST to 12pm EST so I can watch the stream without worry of background noise?)

Then there will be no reason to do BR . It’s way easier to make WS than go 12-0 so much luck is required where as to make WS is just time consuming.

I personally love the idea of moments, and I'd like to parrot another post I saw awhile ago on here in saying that it would be perhaps the coolest thing they could add (outside of stadium creator, which I can't wait for) if when you completed a moment, the game cut to audio/video of the actual moment or something similar. Something to make it seem more important and stress the historical relevancy and pertinence of the moment, which I feel is lacking in the current way moments are presented.

I hear you man but I don’t think they care about all that lol. Moments is just another form to grind in the game it’s not supposed to be all that deep . but we shall see how much it’s changed or not in Tmm DD stream , I’m sure we will still have annoying Home run missions with guys with noodle bats and little to no power .

Probably haha. For those I throw on directional and just grip it and rip it while I'm watching Netflix on my laptop.
