Honestly it should just be Mantle again. His card last year was the best card in Show history. I know it won’t be but it should be.

Big yikes..I guess it’s an objective subject, but they have mantle the most old man swing outta the bunch

I had no problems hitting with him...But I just think he’s the best all around player in show history. Switch hitting center fielder with elite speed, fielding, arm, power, ect.

Hank Aaron MLB and then Clemente for NL, and Pedro for AL.

Absolutely no way this happens. They will put a great card (Aaron or surprise) as LS, but would never put 3 of the most desired new cards in it.

I would guess the LS is either Aaron or a surprise on Thursday and the AL and NL may be revealed Thursday as well. Of the cards revealed so far Twins Puckett and Nats Soriano make the most sense for AL/NL.

Sheffield was the desired new guy at launch last year along with Mantle, Ortiz, Maddux, Smoltz, Glavine, Rivera which made up the Diamond Legend Choice Pack.

The new guys not in the 10 card choice pack most certainly will be some.part of a collection reward. Not the AL or NL though.
Puckett will be AL Central reward IMO, Soriano will be a LS Team collection reward Cubs, Yanks, Nats? Cleveland collection will be Sizemore, Dodgers or NL West will be Valenzuela, Fielder will be Milwaukee or NL Central reward.

    Excited to see next week.

I think a 86 Clemente is gonna be the pirates award for completing them. AL and Nl Reward has to be something Biggio and Sheffield tier as of desired goes, so it wont be jeter or Clemente or Pedro, AL will probably be some 99 overall Bernie Williams or Nomar Garciaparra, and NL will be something like Andres Galaraga or David Wright.. thats my opinon.... they're has to be someone extremely impressive to be the "big guy" if its not hammerin Hank

Biggio was a lot more popular as a player than you are giving him.

Thats subjective. Biggio is as popular as Bernie Williams and Nomar, Hes not as popular as Griffey, Ripken, and A-Rod.. Sheffield is as popular as Andres Galaraga, and David Wright, But hes not as popular as Chipper Jones and Mike Piazza

A-Rod is my guess. I have a feeling they're holding him back as the final 'wow omg' release.

Please let this be correct, what a card that will be

Yermin Mercedes. Forget about a Topps Now. He’s already the GOAT.

You just compared 2 good players who will not sniff Cooperstown 1 had 1700 hits the other with a 16 year career and 2300 hits to a Hall of Famer (nearly a first ballot HOFer) who has the 15th Runs Scored, 25th most hits, 6th most Doubles...with 290+ HRS and over 400 Sbs who Caught, played 2B, CF, and LF. Outside of the NY Yankee fans Bernie was nothing special at all, I loved Nomar but he was a walking injury with a few great seasons.

BBWA agreed. The NY and Boston fan base far out weigh Houstons base. (Braves fan here) So popular amongst fans prob a push but careers no match. David Wright isn't close to Sheffield but he is beloved by New Yorkers....Big Cat incredible and was a phenomenal hitter.

In short No way Bernie or Nomar are ever the AL reward and they can't sniff Sheff or Biggios strap.

    Sorry but not sorry.

I never compared skills. I only compared popularity. I’m a Baltimore fan. Regardless in terms of popularity Biggio wasn’t that popular up here. Bagwell was very popular up here. Like I said popularity is very subjective. There’s no doubt that Biggio is up there in talent he’s no Griffey or Mantle but he was fast and he could get on base, but in the 1990’s getting in base wasn’t as popular as bombs. So I stick to my statement saying he just wasn’t a popular player in his time because you have dudes crushing 50 homers every year and his career high is 26 in 2005. It’s hard to be popular when you’re that kind of player in a time where bombs were the main focus of the league, another example is Robbie Alomar, because he played in the Bomb era, he wasn’t as popular as Rafael Palmero, because people were cheering for the bombs now so much base hits. Biggio and Alomar are household names but chicks dig the long ball. And so do all the other fans

My prediction is Clemente as the main reward. They are giving us pretty good 42 Series cards out of the gate for Babe, Aaron, and Pedro. My guess is they save Aaron or Pedro for the “Babe grind” from 2020. One could also be the Trout/Wagner of ‘21 as well, most likely Aaron.
