Goodrum/Marte look like the guys for me. Switch hitting middle infielders early on are gonna be money.

It will be the first card with 0 contact and 125 power.
And don't forget 8 vision i never use Gallo, except when i need innings for Rangers other than that he just takes up space in my inventory.

Now with Castillo, my order would be.... Griffey Jr, Mays, ... 2 more TBD , Marte, Castillo, Gallo, Goodrum . I like how Castillo pitches and the pitches he has.

The Salvador Perez they just added is an 88 overall with attributes you can see.
I was thinking these would be 85s since they look to be day one cards but this is a huge W.

Why? Last year the stage 1 Affinity cards were all 88-89s too. I hope the pre-order packs are also 88-89, as it would be kind of dumb to have the 42 series give us an 88 Yastrzemski, but only an 86\7 Griffey.

There weren’t ALL that high, Vlad JR certainly wasn’t and I know a few more 85s existed, possibly Devers if I remember. It just seems foolish to start with a dumb glitch 88 overall Gallo again. Sufficient fielding with 90+ arm 100+ power, you don’t even need to see the card it’s always the same. He’ll be OP for like 3 months and in every line up.

Honestly will have to see how the game plays, and how the changes to the players are. One thing I learned playing all these years of DD, is very seldom is a certain players card translate the same the next year. With a few exceptions of course. I could never use Mike Trout before this year. And then he ends up with one of the most OP cars ever. And his LS before his MVP card was amazing. In years past I just hoped to pull a Trout for the value on the market.

I'm getting the Yankees 42 series first for sure. I'm hoping it's Gleyber, Gio, or Voit (Gary would be a nice surprise, given his lackluster performance from last year) if it's a position player. I'm hoping we don't get a pitcher simply because it'd basically have to be a guy in his first year with the team.
After that, I'm going to be working on filling in the thinner positions. Salvy will likely be near the top of my list if we don't get Gary, because it's much harder to find a decent hitting catcher than to get fair production at the dish from any other position. Once catcher is covered, I like the versatility of a Ketel Marte. He'll give me flexibility as I open up packs and progress and if he does well at the plate, he could very well stay on my team for awhile.
Assuming I have random golds/diamonds to fill in some more common position spots, I'm going to start working towards a starting pitcher. I'm debating taking Mo out of my pre-order pack but I'm worried people will get very comfortable facing him. If I don't take Mo, I'm probably going for Willie Mays or Babe. That said, I really like the idea of Castillo. I think he's going to be one of the better 42 series starters, and I feel strongly that he can headline my rotation for at least a few months while I finish up the LS collection.
All that being said, everything could change today! There's a few guys I can think of that would totally shake up my plans and priorities if they got announced as 42 series. That's what I love about the Show. Can't wait to throw out that first pitch and take that first wild hack at a fastball way up out of the zone.
