Do you not get both a PS4 version as well as the PS5 version when you pre order?

Alright someone help me out. I thought if you pre ordered the digital deluxe edition you got the a code for to transfer over to the PS5 but you still get the ps4 version as well? I pre ordered it back in February and I went and looked and it says I only own the PS5 version. Does this mean I have to buy a ps4 version since I don't have a PS5?

Only the Jackie edition and the deluxe edition not standard
Edit: you should have both of you got the deluxe

Alright so I pre ordered the Digital deluxe edition off of the website through my phone. I got a confirmation email stating I purchased it. Now I go onto my ps4 and i can't make another digital deluxe edition purchase because it says I already have it. Yet I don't see it in my library. So before I make another purchase if the game I just wanted to make sure I was gonna get a ps4 version of the game as well

The pre load starts in 6 days. Wait til the pre load shows up and see if it’s there. I did the same version and I’ve seen mine show and not show up when I look in my library. It does this every year to me

PS Store? And did this same source tell you that you had ps4 purchased as well or did you find out about ps4 from different source?

Correct nothing regarding MLB 21 is in my library. I went to the PS Store and it says I already purchased the game. The email doesn't say what version I bought but. All I see for the digital deluxe edition is the PS5 version no matter if I'm on the website or PS store.

If ps store says you have digital deluxe purchased but you don't see in library Follow these steps in order:
Settings/Account Management/Activate as primary ps4/ Deactivate/click yes/ Restore License/ Restart System/go back to Settings/ Account Management/ Activate as primary ps4/ click confirm, and then check library see if MLB 21 Icon with countdown is in there. If not get a hold of Sony Customer support.

If that didn't work do one more thing. Go to ps store, go to search, type in MLB 21 Digital Deluxe then go to right and click on digital deluxe and tell me what you see?

Alright look man I took you advice and nothing is working so why you keep commenting? Obviously the advice you've given me has not work. So yes I'm gonna continue to post about it and ask questions to find a solution to my issue. I have done everything you have said. I already got in contact with sony and they replied but still there is no solution.

This guy posted and said Sony told him what i told you a month ago. Which is proof you didn't try any of it initially or problem wouldv'e been solved. So you burnt last bridge with me I will never help you again. You are unappreciative and rude to people who went out of thier way to help. No thanks and no response just pure selfishness. So i wash my hands of you.

Wow I must of really hurt your feelings. You are taking this pretty hard. I'm just a guy on the internet who's having issues with a game he's bought from a company. But it seems like your world is crashing down just because someone on the internet isn't nice to you. I can tell you are thin skinned.

Out of curiosity @Swissy14_PSN what did Sony tell you when you in touch with them? I pre-ordered mine and it shows up. Do you still have the beta installed on your system?

They told me to keep an eye on to see if it shows up in my library. Also yes I still have the beta installed on my system. The past 3-4 I played the beta/alpha and I dont delete it until i get the new game.

Yeah you can try to delete it and restore licenses. I had that problem one year, forget what year it was. 18 maybe. Was there a beta for that one? I deleted the beta and restored and it showed up
