Also, the Xbox X/S and PS5 require HDMI 2.1 for 4k@120fps , which the LG CX has, yet not many other gaming monitors (or TV's) currently have. The CX having HDMI 2.1 is one of the things that makes using it the correct decision.

There are plenty of Samsung TV that are still A+ for this game. You really only need 4K@60hz which is a budget TV these days. They now have budget TVs that are designed to be incredibly fast as well.

Is really good, I own the budget version if it, the TU8000 not the RU8000 and it’s still WS caliber but about half the price. They have even better versions but again for 4K@60hz for a 50 inch screen it’s tough to beat a 500$ price tag that won’t hold you back and looks amazing.

Well if you have a 8k TV it’s probably incredible lol, but the issue is this, how fast is it in 1080p vs 4K vs 8k and how fast is it at those @60hz? they can actually all be a bit different which is annoying. Its native resolution usually is the best, and it can be just as good or extremely slow on other settings.

The one I posted is actually fastest in 4K@60hz which makes it a great TV for MLB the show because its what it plays at. The more you spend, they better they usually perform so I’m sure yours is amazing, but there is a slight chance lowering the settings to 4k@60hz could actually disrupt its performance.

Jealous btw, if you want to message me the mode I can check how amazing it is lol.

Are you using game mode on the tv and what settings do you have the show set at (faster, HDR off, etc...)

HDR, Game Mode, Faster ...and I can hit now like never before. I also finally got my glasses last week, so that helps as well. (It's amazing how well I can hit when I can see the ball well. 😉 ) Anyway, the combo of glasses and the CX makes the game like a completely new game, not to mention the colors are incredible.

102 is still fast above 700, yet I played the Lou Gherig God Squad moment again today (after not playing it for 3 or 4 months) that has Pearson as the pitcher as a test, and won easily, so I definitely can see the difference and also hit the 102.

Also, I don't have my full, maximum configuration just yet, as I am still playing '20 on my ps4. My Xbox Series X (which I will pair with the TV) will have additional settings that I can use to further optimize everything. I know what I am going to further optimize already, because I got the CX specifically to pair it with the Series X after doing a ton of research. I had a 32-inch, 3ms rt, 7ms input lag gaming monitor before, and although the speed was good, the picture quality was horrible and made hitting hard in different ways. The CX fixes that issue and is also faster than other gaming monitors, so I am set as I can see the pitch clearly and also handle the speed. The last two nights, I hit 4 home runs back-to-back-to-back-to-back in one RS game around 700, and another 3 back-to-back-to-back last night in the mid 700's and dropped 6 runs in one inning. I can actually see the spin on the ball and determine the pitch based on the spin. It's insane how big the difference is with the CX.

Try it on game mode with performance. I switched and it’s pretty much crystal clear and zero lag with the CX. Let me know what you think

I messed with the settings, yet it seemed like it made things worse somehow, not better.

I had game mode on since yesterday, and then must have something reconfigured incorrectly? Can you be more specific as to what specific performance tweaks you turned on, as I'd be curious to know. Also, this is just connected to a PS4, Xbox Series X and Xbox. Some of the performance settings are only available on the PS5 and Xbox Series S/X. The Series X is what I will play '21 on, yet I play '20 on the PS4. Are you talking about auto-low-latency, or something else?

Also, I do appreciate the information/help. I am definitely curious about what you are setting.
