I know that there are animations where the batter, pitcher, and the manager complain about the strike zone and the umpire does nothing. I remember MLB 2K7, you can argue and if you cross a line you can get ejected and lose the ability to control the team during the rest of the game.

The only thing you can do to get ejected is consistently throw at batters. Part of the licensing requirement for the game was to remove all fights and dustups that would make MLB look bad.

2K7 was made before that part of the contract was installed.

I think it would be an excellent addition to be able to argue balls and strikes as a player or manager. And if the virtual line was crossed, you would get the boot. There could be a meter for the umpire displaying the level in which you are safe and the level you will be ejected.

This has nothing to do with brawls, so I cannot see why it could not be implemented.

Arguing with a computer umpire is even more pointless than arguing with a human umpire.

Yeah if settings are on perfect it would be pointless. But some people like the realism of strike zone being random depending on umpire.

So yeah i could see where this would add a different feel to the game. And to go along with one of the previous posts, as your argue meter goes up maybe have something where crowd noise is effected based off of if you win or lose arguement?

I think it would be a cool addition. Make it optional, so it can be turned on/off by the user.

But if the MLB has said "No, you can't do that" as part of their licensing agreement then there is nothing SDS can do about it.

It would add some flavor to the game but I am not sure it helps the game play, same as challenges.

I was just about to add that the inclusion of challenges was an interesting idea but serves no purpose except to hold up play, but you got in before me.
