No I don't have to act smart, I am smart so it comes naturally. It can be a burden sometimes and create loopholes when it comes to topics like "purpose", but I doubt you'd understand. Either way, you should relax a little and remember that all of this means nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Anyone can hit at that park. My 9 year old rakes at that field. It takes zero skill level to play there. "Top" players play there because they like arcade baseball and home run derby. And on top of that, stop glorifying these kids who play this on youtube in moms basement. Most of these dudes played jv level h.s baseball at best.

It matters greatly if you've never played competitive baseball. Lmao. Shippet is a crutch for dudes in this game. Bottom line fanboy. I would guarantee your "top" players would be slightly above average if they didn't play 90% of there games in that little league field. Prove me wrong. Level the playing field and get rid of that dumpster fire of a field where everyone hits routine flyballs for homeruns
if both teams are playing at shippet is the playing field not level? im guessing your some guy that's played 700 games batting under 225. just upset that your constantly getting smoked. I guarantee top guys would beat you over and over no matter the field they pick. also real life baseball has nothing to do with a video game. your using your thumbs to hit and pitch. how is that relevant?
Its ok. You've been brainwashed into thinking changeups and sinkers high in the zone are more effective than down in the zone, that sliders down and away are routinely hit out of park on early timing. Keep buying into that trash. Learn baseball

I watched one of the best players in the world lose to a guy that never even got out of pennant race.
The games random. Everyone knows it. Even the developers. That’s why they are changing it.
I’ve gone undefeated in previous game seasons and I struggle to reach championship because bums are pulling balls out of the dirt on 0-2 after they foul of 7000 balls.
Cut the nonsense. This game isn’t skill based. But it will be soon. Then we will see who’s really good.

There is no correlation between age and wisdom, that's a hypothesis that has been debunked more than once. Also the fact that you may or may not be old enough to be my father doesn't assert superiority or dominance in any shape or form. The opposite is true, it shows you're weak and fragile and you have to resort to simple rhetoric like this to have a misplaced sense of victory in this very basic conversation.

people can't have an off game?? I know some games I just can't hit on allstar. other times I can get double digits on legend. that's not random that's all on me.

my first two years playing DD i would breeze through CS, DS and make WS fairly easy. im not elite but this year they added a lot of randomness to pitching (my strength) although in the past i hit around .300 i could get to WS because of pitching. playing at shippett with random pitching outcomes caused my pitchers a lot low confidence off of cheap hits and things truly spiralled out of control.
this is also the year where Contact hitting is useless. I've always been a patient contact hitter. That's a useless skill in 20, especially at Shippett.
Shippett rewards certain styles of play but if you are a pitching/defense and a patient contact hitter like myself who actually hits pitches on the black better then meatballs then 20' is a nightmare.
I'm hoping they addressed the issue for 21 because I truly feel this was the first iteration of the game that was not entirely skill based.
I mean FFS i beat a guy with a 12-0 banner using Directional hitting. (experiment :))

I am not the biggest fan of Shippett either but I recognize the the importance of this stadium. Many players just want to hit bombs after bombs for fun. Others just want to prestige their players. Prestiging players in this game is a long task and Shippett allows to do it quickly.
