Phase 1 seems like it was immediate b/c they were pushing the prospect collection.
And mixed into that same time frame we had the MLB Players tourney results being put into moments.
And then drizzled with weekly Topps now cards.
As far as what starting lineup will be depends on TA rewards.

Most years, it's available Day 1.
2018 was the outlier, it wasn't available until about 3 weeks in.

Depending on if the Diamonds are LS or SE players, and either of them are worth more than 10-15K, I'm selling them. Same with any Gold worth more than 3K.
I'm also selling off any 'high value' cards I get in the free packs; unless they're one if the higher LS Diamonds.
I'm sticking to offline, other than certain Events, until I see to the end of the year. I can deal with playing the cpu in Play vs Cpu and Conquest games until prices drop.
Plus if they bring back Moments, Showdown, and TAs; that will keep me busy.
Why pay 15-20K for a Gild player when eventually you can get them for 1K?

It does matter actually if he is silver, which KeBryan Hayes will be as well, he can't possibly be more than 7,500. That being said silvers on teams that have no diamonds or golds are never more than 2-3k the first couple weeks

Aren’t the diamond pack cards no sell? I can’t remember. But I’m with you on the sell. If I get trout I’m selling him for a mil and just get him again later

Trout won't be that much when the game releases. Most he'll ever hit is around 280K and that's after the game has been out for awhile.
Besides, nobody will have 1M in stubs that early.
